i actually noticed that the last time i went to kibera, the government actually built nice "few
" flats for the slum dweller but the major issues is, these slum dwellers are so used to the slum live style that they find it hard to cope in a decent environment so they would rather get the money and go back to the slums and even invite more people into the system, aside that, slums in Kenya can never despair in as long as every decisions is based on tribal

The report says 60%, estimates. if 60% is 2.5 million, then do some math and you find out that the population of Nairobi is around 4.2 million.
And the government plans to get rid of slums btw, building 250,000 housing units per year (Dont know how this is going but they are building houses that I can assure you), that means if a family has 5 guys, then, 1.2 million people are out of the slums. The deadline is 2020. Shame is hiding that slums exist, and shame is not doing anything about it. LIke what yiou Nigerians try to do and act all developed yet more that half of your population is poor. Actually almost a third

Stop deceiving yourself Kenya can't build 250,000 houses per year Where is the fund coming from? And who is buying them? Even if that was true their is no way you won't have the latest estate in Africa. But Nigeria still hold that title.

You can ask South African how many billion dollars they borrowed to provide free houses for their lazy Zulus. That is why South Africa is the most Indebted country in Africa today. Kenya don't have that weight.

Actually "all" Abuja major roads are ten lanes and above, while the inner roads 8lanes , with very 6lanes

Yes we have our own problems and we always complain about it even here on nairaland but that doesn't mean most African countries even have what we have. When Nigerians complain it's because we believe we should have done better. Nigeria only started enjoying democracy in 1999. The rate of growth is good but not good enough compared to what we earn.

Actually 90℅ of Nigerian cities would be considered slums in Kenya. Look at what most of Kano (your second largest city) looks like - the whole of this would be considered a slum in a city like Nakuru.
