Hello good people, I've just met one guy who says he's an agent but after a conversation I can tell he doesn't do more than tell one how to arrange their docs and advises on what docs to package when submitting. Basically all the info on here for free.
He seemed a bit knowledgeable on the application process. However, he said something I would like to ask here its authenticity.

When I asked if I should write CIC a brief and subtle reminder mentioning resumption date and how my school asked to mail them to "consider application in due time"...he said I shouldn't. When I asked why, he said it'd be like asking them to issue me a refusal. That I'd be asking them to rush my application and that's also asking them to refuse me the study permit.

It doesn't make as much sense as I go over it in my head, but can anyone corroborate that or tell me outright that the man is wrong.

NB- My application is 10 weeks and counting. Processing time shows 13 weeks now.

i need someone to convince me by breaking protocol of human resource management TRV refusals. i have never witnessed one on NL to may be advise future applicants around me who may be interested in studying such program in canada. as @folaroyal and I said no program is related to HRM than HRM
To buttress your point.......
My friend's wife studies PGC HRM @ Niagara College in Ontario... I only knew yesterday and was so curious to know her UG course... Alas, she studied BSc Human Capital Mgt (same as HRM) in UK for her UG ... They just relocated from the UK after securing their citizenship last year!..
I am made to understand it's a highly paid job and on category 'O' on the NOC list in Canada.... The kind of jobs citizens would clamour and give limited chances to immigrants...
Regards.

What's your take on someone that read Economics in UG and worked as a recruitment consultant for 3 years + and then applied to HRM (co op) in conestoga

To the best of my knowledge... In as much as your proposed program is in tandem with either your UG or relevant working experience.... It is understandable that you require the program to boost and progress in your career path.... you should be OK... Finish the deal with a solid LoE!

The purpose of LoE/SoP cannot be overestimated... It is the only thing that represents and speaks for you where you aren't physically present... Let your LoE solicit on your behalf and answer any query that may arise during application processing.

Hello,

Please has anyone here applied for a masters in law at Uni of saskatchewan or other universities with moderate tuition? I want to apply straight now for a masters though i have a 2.2. This is pending the outcome of my gcms notes for visa refusal of HR PGC. Was of the opinion that getting admission for a masters may not fly because of the grade but perhaps i should give it a try. i want to know what it entails, whether or not a research paper is compulsory requirement. Your advice will be most appreciated. God bless!
u r so luckyoooo...am so in love wit law. I wish I cld study law at masters level but I can't because I don't hv BSC law n won't get admitted for BSC law in Canada. Am 32 now... Hw I so wish n here u r wanting to deviate... I wish u all d best my brother regardless

It is free. I think they waived it for Nigerians because of the international spending limit.

Ubc have been waiving the application fees for Nigerian applicants for more than two years because Nigeria is one of the 50 poorest countries in the world.

Fill in the required information correctly. Did u say u applied on October 11 and October 14 as seen in your previous posts?

Keep trying. It happened to me severally. Plus, just as you've been told, try to fill the proper details too. Eventually, it would link.

Maybe that was their reason before now. But when I applied, it was clrealy stated that they waived it because of international monetary policies adopted by the government lately.

By the way, Nigeria is not in the UN list that UBC quoted to be the least developed countries.

Think I asked about possibility of applying from UK, is that it?

You can use it. By the way, why re you doubting the 'application fees waiver'? At least when you get to the payment page, the system cannot force you to enter your card details. But just like others have said, it is free. I applied last week.

I concur. At least people gave suggestions based on the statistics of those that applied with the same conditions (would it have been better if they ignored him when he asked the questions). He should at least appreciate them for even responding. He can also help others that might want to go through the same route by stating what he did differently, documents submitted and co.

Congrats @KayPapi. Wishing you the best as you start another phase of your life. Kindly state what you did differently and the documents submitted so as to help others.
