I don't know about you o....but 245 doesn't qualify as "best brains"....exams aren't the best test of knowledge, but in the op's case I don't believe it is as a result of people that cheated getting higher scores. The op just wasn't ready to study enough to pass.....and if he did study enough and still couldn't make the cut all those times, then he certainly isn't cut out for university education.

...you talked like someone that was average and realised that each tym he fails to make the cut..ok,lemme make ma self clearer,..for me,i left primary skl the best graduating student,became the head boi and all dat,i also did wonderfully well in na tym in in second skl graduation with 7 A's in a public skl,won ma skl a lot of awards why with them.i did jamb for 6 years all scoring above 250,bt ended up not gaining admissions wen even ma post une wz from 82% up..it wz clear to me from the admission list dt a lot of ppl dis beta dan me in ma class in jamb wen I eventually got to skl.honeatly,they ended up being a drag in skl.nd couldn't cope in the long run.i graduated frm economics a Lil blow first class..nd became an idol to many younger students in ma skl....u see Wot I min?....allowing cheating in jamb is really hampering a lot of good students from gaining admissions.dis also happened to ma younger bro,who stayd 5 years at home nd graduated with the 2nd best result ever in his dept of anatomy at uniben.and mny mur persons Av seen..honeatly am vry vry informed on Wot ever I say online.on Wot soever topic.anoda tin u hav to knw us dat with the capacity,frienght,inexperiences that characterise Yong admission seekers of mostly 17 to 20..the best brains are 80 percent likely to score btw 245 to 262

you are missing my point.....I am not saying that people don't cheat to gain admission.....all I am saying is if one hinges ones inability to gain admission on the fact that some people cheated, then such a person isn't ready to gain admission. The mentality should be if I want to pass I have to be the best. Although other factors might come into play on exam day but in an isolated situation where all other conditions to write jamb are near perfect 260 doesn't qualify as best brains. 260 is 65%. Believe me jamb is probably one of the easiest exams to write. The methods are clear and the contents are repetitive.

But i must say that i dont have any reason regret why i joined this wonderful family.

Back to the topic, after i wrote Jamb severally without any success,i resorted to embark on an internal diploma programme in University of calabar, and by the grace of God i rounded up early this year and i applied for a direct entry admission and i tried to check my admission status today, and the first sentence that greeted me was *congratulation DAVID UDEME JACKSON*.

It is the Lord's doing and it is marvelous in our sight.
To all those who are in need of this blessing,the God that visited me,will surely visit you at the appointed time.
