When the whole thing crashes, you all will be looking for support and sympathy. More strategically, it is a means of drawing funds out of the country during an economic downturn.

Many of you cannot see beyond your noses because of the love of 'free money' that is unsustainable.

Funny enough no answers to the questions yet. You guys don't ask questions? Just follow the money or more precisely, the allure of it?
simple question for you. Since the announcement of the frozen.
1) Has any of the participants ever come to you for help?
2). Do the participants not survive since then?
3) How does the mmm issue affect your life?
4) Why are you crying for the participants, do they request for your cry?
5) Does any of the participants comes for your help?
These are the answers I need from you.

My observation:

Those people against online mutual donation schemes like MMM, are either:

1) Very broke and wishing they had tangible money to invest. These ones make so much noise like clanging bellz. By characteristic, they own very hungry blogs and use fake news to seek for adsense attention.

2) Not broke, but are scared to participate for lack of understanding of how the scheme really works. Such people wake up each day, and when they realize that MMM is still up and running, they blame themselves for not investing one month ago. The guilt kills them and they just have to extend d their frustration towards the successful "others".

How do I know? 8months ago I was in category 2. Now? Am a damn millionaire, without stress.

If u believe that in the 21st century, u must execute hard work before u make money, am sorry to say... YOU AREN'T EXPOSED YET. The chase for money is getting easier everyday, i.e for them who know the most secure channels (as most channels who offer outrageous ROIs are either insecure or unsustainable over time).

My advice: Like our leader said, leave us alone. If u are looking for a job to do, then monitor things intelligently in advance for January 14th.

You would see for urselves how disappointed you would be.

Regards.

Guider Stanley.

DanG1:
My answers as a Participant of the MMM Scheme and someone who got to like the system and heavy throughts and who knew what was at stake before joining.

1. Where do you think the money you are collecting through MMM is coming from?

Money is not coming from anywhere, the money being paid as 30% is provided by another participant who has pledged a certain amount into the system. What you need to understand that everyone in the system should and must have read the risks related and still wanted in. With their own money. Which isn't your's. It's a willingness to do based on what I feel I stand to gain (Same as my willingness to pay my tithe based on what I am told I would gain)

2. Do you know what a Ponzi scheme is?

Yes! We know it's a Ponzi scheme, but I feel am grown up enough to make my own decisions, it's my money and my decision on where and how to use it. I have lost money from legitimate places. I know what MMM is. I read all about the history and still decided to join based on personal convictions (you may call it greed, I would respect your opinion. If I can respect yours, then you need respect mine)

3. Where did you get the money you invested in MMM from?

Where I got the money from, would really not be anyone's business as far as it wasn't reported stolen. It's my money and how it was generated still remains my concern and what type of business or scam I choose to use it for is still my decision to make as far as I am of sound mind and judgment

4. Is it that you don’t understand that governments across the world are duty-bound not to allow a Ponzi scheme started by an ex-convict that has scammed people across the world operate freely within their countries?

Well, the government and other regulatory bodies have their jobs to do. And am glad they are doing it. Same as me, I have my life to live and my decisions to make. The government didn't give me the money. I worked for it, I can decide what it is used for against anybody's wish

5. Explain how MMM is a revolutionary idea that commercial banking should be afraid of?

It's not a revolutionary idea, it is a system that came at a time where our present system cannot cater for our needs, so we decided to take matters into our own hands, I believe it is better than, having to hear that people are dying of hunger or increase in armed robbers or homelessness. MMM is not the real deal, but as long as it lasted it helped elevate the some lives

6. Do you understand that wealth is created based on the value you create not through this system operated by a few people to rob people of their money while leaving them in the lurch?

MMM Nigeria is not a productive outfit yet. It can only become more productive if/when it switches fully to the Bitcoin system. It was being groomed for that. There are a lot that meets the eyes about MMM (Nigeria MMM just exploded because as Nigerian's that's who we are. I have been in the Brazilian system and still yet, its been so quiet because in Brazil its for residual income generation unlike Nigeria. But like I said we are Nigerians and thats how we are)

7. Did you anticipate that your ‘investment’ (sorry, your ‘Mavros’) could be frozen without you having any say on what happens next?

Never ahve I anticipated it, but it is happening and not like I have not being aware all along that it would one day end. I have and am aware. So the day it happens won't come as a shock to me because i read the terms and conditions before signing. So I am aware of the risks

8. Do you agree that as a promoter of the scheme, you are quite dubious because you are seeking to reap bountifully at the expense of others when the scheme crashes?

As a promoter. I am not dubious. As I have not taken anything from you that would make me dubious. As far as I explain to you and you decided willingly to join, you have made your decions as an adult and I am not responsible for it.

9. Do you not worry that you could have a hand in the death or grievous harm happening to people who could lose money from MMM and become suicidal?

No, I wasn't worried. Every person I have brought into the system, I have monitored and warned not to go greedy and should stick to a plan that helps reduce loss and still keep you alive even if you lose it. It is boldly written on the MMM page

10. Do you understand that you are effectively using time that you could use for productive activity to promote a questionable scheme at best?

Well, my time and how I use it, its still my business. Unless you are my benefactor, then I would have to answer to you. If you found time to write all these questions and explanations, then I should have my time to do as I please

Your answers and feedback are quite welcome.

Has it occurred to you that you are a potential accomplice to a crime? Obtaining under false pretence. The guys on top of this scheme have huge funds to play with as nobody controls their insider trading behind the scenes.

Your attempt at answering my questions is commendable.

You are the only fool here. How do you think a venture will generate value when no product is being sold or service being rendered?
prophetfire:
dumb fool you are. the members pay it to themselves. its a sort of fund yhat revolves around the members. you give a member and when you need the other members give you with interest. your knocked engine brain caano comprehend bcs its too dry to do so.its simple but too complex for one with dead brain to understand. Where will the 'interest' come from if every participant is expecting interest?

The core word is "people are greedy". The instructions is clear, 'use your spare money'. If it was a money you can afford to loose, why cry? Its Ponzi a.k.a Gambling or Tête(Yoruba lang.). You Win or you loose. Its not a core business but, an investment. The investor expect a return or risk loosing his money. Lobatan!

This is the problem- you say it is an investment but the promoters say it is not an investment.

Yes you need people's love and concern. Don't be deceived by a bit of cash. If MMM crashes with your money. You will need our love. Since you're not God that can see the future, I would suggest it unwise to chase away people concerned for your wellbeing.

Again I reiterate, nobody is an island. Your headache is not yours alone.

But i thought they said it's a business and that the traffic on their website is what they use in generating the funds and the extra bonuses?how comes it's now an issue?
The truth of the matter is that MMM is an intermediary taking from John to pay Peter so they make their money through traffic but if more persons are asking for their money to be paid against those putting, the system crashes.this scenario can be likened to what goes on in bank when the total number of persons withdrawing exceed those paying . what the bank does is to create a limit to the number of withdraw or they don't pay at all. This trend is what's happening to MMM but the media is blowing out of proportion. MMM is an investment that has higher risk of which the participants are aware of so it would be hypocritical for anyone to be kicking against it when the participants are aware of the risk.

Your assertion is very wrong bros. I, for example, was offered significant amount to invest into MMM by a brother but I declined. Not everybody will sell their close friends into slavery for 30%. In my calculation MMM robs 5 Peter to pay 3 Paul. It is just a matter of when all the peters will be exhausted financially . . .
Go through my comment again! While my comment is facing the North, yours is towards East.

Though i never did mmm and never advised anyone to, but most of the aspersions you people cast on the scheme are either unfair or false. As well as i understood the scheme, it is purely mutual aid and the originator had nothing to gain except traffic on the website. If you don't have enough courage to pay your money into a stranger's bank account, leave those who do, alone.

MMM is not a fraud. It's just a scheme I'd 'personally' not want to go into. Same way, whoever is 'personally' willing to go into it, should be free.

Who knows if the scheme will eventually return in January. Then, you haters will be put to shame.

Ponzi gangster forming innocent. You mavrodans can tell any lie to defend your scheme. U people don't even know anything, u ate quick to shout traffic, how on earth those traffic on MMM generate money for the owners and admin of MMM? There is nothing like mutual aid in robbing Peter to pay Paul. This is a scheme that will surely implode on your faces. There was an excuse in SA, then they restarted with frozen money never recovered, another excuse in Zimbabwe with frozen mavros not recovered then a restart. Off course wise ones would have quit, but more greedy ones will still continue and more will join. Till a freeze and restart again , or a freeze to death. You all are living on the many lies told to you about MMM being in so many other countries including France. No one has ever verified, just the pure poo dished to u guys, to make u feel secured. I can create as many websites i want in MMM's name and just host it to make u comfortable. Do u know how many fake Alibaba websites and the likes were used to defraud people?

When someone says he doesn't care what happens to the last set of "investors", you know he is a thief. A system that can be interrupted and frozen without warning is simply scam. Someone somewhere managing the system can just pair himself with another person just to get help then disappear until he needs more pocket money.

The day is almost here. January the 14th. I advise all of you expecting money from this scheme not to raise your hopes.

I am glad the government did not interfere. Let the scheme teach greedy people a lesson of a life time.

We know how banks work
And we know why they are regulated, examined/inspected by CBN and they have to meet certain soundness standards - liquidity, capital adequacy, credit portfolio quality
A 300 level student can prepare the budget for a bank because thw workings of a bank is understanadble to the average person and the projections can show that the bank's operations are sustainable for hundreds of years
The above don't apply to MMM
Comparing both is like comparing the work of an experienced forecaster who can show his assumptions with the pronouncements of a security man who claims to see the future in his dream

and First Bank has never lost depositors' money.
The pic you showed must have been from when people were scrambling to do BVN registration on deadline day

There is always a new scheme on the horizon
Human greed is incurable just like you have everybody believing they experts in relationship matters and their marriage cannot crash

One of the most silly arguments here is about selfishness - is it your money? did the victim complain to you etc

Yet we discuss the US election, coup in Turkey, row between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, the transformation of Jumoke and the effect on her husband or the candidate who scored 320 in JAMB and could not get admission
Nobody asks me if any of the people complained to me

But as soon we ask why 2m+ Nigerians want easy money, the mindset behind yahoo-yahoo or the suicidal trips to Indonesia/ Singapore etc, they ask us what is our own?

and that is a question I cannot ask the Immigration or Customs Officer in a foreign country who singles me out for aggressive vetting because of my green passport, although it is my first ever visit outside the country
Or can I ask what is my own with the crimes committed by Tanimu, Tunde or Tochukwu when they last visited the foreign country I now desire to enter?

its too advanced for your little brain to understand. they render service by bringing together a needy and helpers who provide help and get help later with a mark-up. the mmm promoters make their own money from the traffic that visit their site. they bting these people together to render and receive help from one another and then make money from the traffic that troop to their online platform.

No, I am not in anyway an accomplice to crime as there is no criminal activity perpetuated here. I have not obtained under false pretence. It's like you tell the Church they are extorting from their members. The members have been told why they need to make their donations and what they stand to gain and they willingly do. Same as MMM, every participant has been told the ins and outs, the dangers and the gains and they decided to out of their sound mind. So there is nothing criminal involved. The criminals who are the politicians till date have not gotten the same criticism you all have passed on to citizens on about their dangerous and risky life. If you spend 10% of this energy on uncovering political thieves, would have been more helpful

However, unlike you two, i do not begrudge those who are brave enough to do it. Now, i believe Robert Greene's analysis of envy.

A scheme where you collect money from Peter to pay Paul without any value added in between is fraud
