Thank you , desoul used it but didn't give full details on how to obtain it. I remember someone else did but can't remember the moniker and this search system isn't helping.

Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 5 by chibertha(f): 8:19am On Dec 23, 2016
1) Decide on the state you want to go to
2) Check cost of medicals there
3) Contact Dr
4) Get visa if you don't have already
5)Then go through this thread you will get a lot of options for cheap accommodation e.g get someone to split with, airbnb, long stay accommodation ie studio6,extended stay etc
From there you can now get a full picture of what it will cost you.
I too don't have family or friends there so I had to pay for accommodation.

DW is also an April Mom. Accommodation is such a big issue. Collaborating may help alleviate some of the burdens attaches to the cost.

Goodmorning Gurus in the house,

In the struggle to get dollars, my dad has some dollars in his domiciliary account, can I travel with his ATM and withdraw when I get to the States?

Anyone with experience on Dallas POE and accommodation? As I need a proof of accommodation if asked at POE even though I will be staying with a family friend.

Thanks. Mr. Fred sorted out my accommodation, u can pm me for his contact if interested. No, St Francis is in Lynwood. It's Dr. m's office that is in Inglewood which is close to lax. Lynwood is generally not too nice an area to stay in from popular opinion so you might want to consider other parts of town. I'm in Inglewood.

I mean the higher the fares the closer the travel dates get, you know $1500 wouldn't have been bad in the era of 200 cbn rate grin
Now everything is scattered.

Why not open a dom acct in Nigeria and transfer the USD in your dad' to yours b4 heading for the US. This way, you eliminate potential delay/issue at POE. It is better to be safe than sorry.
