Nigerian singer Tekno has shown has indirectly mocked organizers of Headies for disqualifying him from the Next Rated award.

Tekno who performed last at Rhythm Unplugged threw shade at Headies organisers.He mounted the stage to perform and in pidgin said “Dem nominate me, say they disqualify me again, you be God?” He said in an obvious shade at the organizers of the Headies.

Wizkid,Olamide,Falz,Davido,Tiwa Savage,Korede Bello,Basketmouth,DJ Cuppy and others performed at the event which was graced by billionaire Femi Otedola alongside his trademark Nokia torch phones.

Finally finally tekno for park, close mouth. We know say him pass the award, we know say next rated no be the category him suppose dey. But if to say na me be am ehn, I for humble myself as they nominate me, close mouth, go the award show, collect the award jejely--------if they give me----- if they no give me go my house go sleep quietly, because men more award still dey front. If he continues to work hard, maybe next year sef, the same hip TV way underrate am as next rated fit use their own hand give am artiste of the year. Humility na virtue o.

You were nominated for an award, u went on ranting you were above it, they still took it upon themself to educate his dumb ass what the award was about, he was invited for a photo shoot for the award promo, dude never showed up.
