I'm and heavy user, I charged it once a day,
Though it charges very slow in contrast to my previous phone infinity note 2, but have similar battery life,
I'm using Kate, but you can get more screen time buy reducing the screen light

Wait till February/March, the price of the redmi note 3 will drop and there will be new phones launching at that time.

OTA is over-the-air. Mainly for automatic updates

Screenshot your miui version. If you don't have stock rom, then you won't be able to update
