God does not need your money......He need your service.....you cannot do any thing for God but for men... if your money cannot help man then you have failed God......tithe or no tithe....God will still open His door of financial blessing for you if He so wish.....use all your earnings to help humanity..... God gave you power to make wealth.....don't hold a dine back for your self

tithe is good because it helps the Body of Christ to meet up with its financial obligation....but it is not the ultimate in Christianity.....Pay if you have.... and if you don't have.. nothing do you.

Commonsense thing is to base it on the 50k. If you want to declare salary now if looking for better offer or raise, you will not ask this question. All other tax and deductions are also sanely based on this. Godliness should not be tantamount to insanity or a lack of commonsense.
