Welcome to Chicago. I am in Chicago myself. Live in the NW suburbs, but work downtown. So, I take the train into the city during the week. You already have some good advice. If you are good with computers (specifically programming/software), then a career in IT is what you can look into. If you have any questions relating to how to get into IT (compputer programming, etc.) and how to start, you can PM me. You are correct...Chicago is cold! And it's not evenJan/Feb yet. You just have to dress for it. Edit - Now that I hjave seen more of your pictures, it looks like you are in the South Suburbs. I see you have visited on of the many Nigerian/African grocery stores we have in "Chi-town" . Good work bro! 26 Likes 4 Shares |

progress69: Thank you my brother, like my brother who left for the US in August even for study only to get there and start looking for a citizen to marry... Well, he has his own decision to make. My point is you made your decision already and we need people who would stand and not compromise their integrity(not even religion now), we need men who are not desperate to the extent that they can do anything to get whatever they want. Men who wait for their own timing. Please do d needful and don't violate the law of any land all in the name of getting rich quickly..... Beware 18 Likes 2 Shares |

dokkitaa: Thanks jare. People wey never get visa before not to talk of travelling out before go con dey form super advisers dey rude on top am. Blab like every thing is as easy as ABC. I am not desperate, I know no one will disturb u as long as u stay away from crime and troubles that can land you in police wahala. But all tru then, one has to do all these little jobs to sustain. But those little jobs still makes more sense compared to Nigeria, plus the standard of living and the relative peace of mind.Perhaps with time, one will get a spouse. U only have mouth whe. U have that green card. Will make a solid decision next year, God help me! 8 Likes |

maternal: Whatever u say. But i could have bolted out immediately i got the visa cos the only problem would have been flight tickets which i can definitely afford. I have so many places i can put up to before i settle down. If u feel its forming, that is your cup of coffee. Its new year. No time for childish rants. 5 Likes 1 Share |
