Don't input any code.
Take it to Computer village for them to unlock it for you for a token.

I've got an iphone 5s that suddenly stopped working (long story) abandoned it for some months now but anyways I've had two conflicting diagnosis, one group of repairers say I should change the battery while another group say I should change the power ic. I did my research online and it seems the power ic is actually the culprit due to use of substandard chargers (?) My issue now is am I still going to enjoy my phone after changing said ic or do I just have to get rid of the phone since I'm not sure of the source of the ic ?

Change the charger.
Try using the OEM charger (the one that came with the phone)
If it doesn't work then don't use your phone while charging.

It's a temporal fix
The problem will later start even after the change
Then it will deteriorate to the point where the phone will go off and stay off and on whenever it wants to

Look for a scrap iPhone 5 and use the ic
It will be a better fix

IPhone doesn't have good parts in d market

Flash a new rom then change the imei from there

What exactly is it saying when you try make an international call?
Are you using the correct trunk code?
Eg to dial a US number, you'll have to put +1 before the number.

it says nothing, it hangs up on its own. Yes bros. I am using the correct Int.dial.code

I honestly don't have any acess to a scrap iphone 5. Seems I'll just have to get rid of it anyway

The problem should be from the phone then.
Check the call settings one by one.
If this is a recent problem and didn't occur when you got the phone newly then try a factory reset.

Charge it and let the battery drain itself again... then remove the battery and insert and put your phone on.
