Battery life not so great.... Though I stream a lot.(again too it could be the upgrade)

Both Sims support 4G

Good to know both Sims supports 4g.

As per battery life, can you help us with more specifics as per your usage scenario and how long from 100% charged to fully drained.

Avoid the redmi 4 series for now. It is not a finished product.

Screen on-time. I'm sure it must have been higher before the upgrade.

Main reasons I'm not considering the phone

Mi 5.. now has the official Global version...
I prefer the 4GB RAM 128 GB ROM Version to the mi 5s or 5s plus
Yes, I prefer the 128gig rom version of the mi5 with 5.5inch display, but it has been elusive.
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by amadika(m): 8:17am On Jan 03, 2017
I still prefer the mi5 prime to the mi5s. That's why I'm so anxious waiting for my beauty/beast to arrive.

I think all mi5 versions (standard, prime and Pro) have 5.15" screen size

Hello House....
I want to advice all those that are gearing up for purchase of Xiaomi Phones to chill for another 2days as the Company are about to announce a ton of new devices, this devices could include a Mi Mix variant with a smaller display and probably a Mid-Ranger, and also there may be drop in price of current devices
follow the link below and enjoy

Good advice,

If you're really sure of what you want, you can as well buy it and enjoy your device. From history, xiaomi are known for incremental updates except some few surprises.

The truth is things are not yet stable in Nigeria and exchange rate can fluctuate higher. So not taking a plunge now may be taking a huge risk.

Now, we can still purchase at rate of 320 / 325 per dollar, who knows what will happen tomorrow.

Even gtb and access bank may tow the line of other banks and cancel online transaction for naira card, which means you'll have to source dollars at N490 current rate.

Then the smartest way to do is to fund your Aliexpress pocket now @320/325 to a $ and wait

Thanks. But can I use $200 from my card and fund the $50 on alipocket and where will I enable the wallet?

Yes.. when checking out you will enable the alipocket wallet if you are purchasing a phone worth 260 $
Fund the alipocket with about 200$ then check out with the wallet and pay the balance with your card...

You can as well fund the alipocket with all the 260$.. not Alipocket only have Round figure voucher.. like 10$, 20$, 50$, 100$ and 150$..

Yeah I agree, there's a sort of downgrade in the mi5s but instead of shelling out big bucks on the 128gb model, I'm thinking of buying an otg flash drive instead. What'd you think?

I ordered redmi note 3 SE from the same store on 1st of January, and it shipped the next day 2nd of January

why can't these people just write "out of stock" or presale? sad

funny enough, I checked the order details and saw something like this.

very annoying!
