By the end of his tenure, you would appreciate the great PMB.

This was what he tried to do in the 80s and the people were screaming murder when he banned everything that could have been produced within.

God bless you, PMB.

Let them hate you, we, the enlightened ones, live you die!

Abakiliki de stoned rice remains one of the best local rice in Nigeria. PMB govt is bringing hardship to it citizen. How can a local rice be sold for N12,000. During GEJ i bought 50kg of Abakiliki rice for N4,000, while foreign is N8,500. APC govt has nothing to offer, only lies.

You're the one who's lying here. I've been eating de-stoned Abakiliki rice for almost a year now and I've never even encountered a single grain of sand not to mention any stones. I really don't know what you're eating but it's not Abakiliki rice.

Local rice sold for 18,000 (double the price of foreign rice 2 years ago) and someone is asking God to bless Buhari??

I pray your life be same way Buhari has "Blessed" Nigeria.

But you just read the write up and the price there now, Did you see anywhere in that news where it says 18k?

Not news, Abakiliki rice has always been our favourite right from the time I was small. Elderly people complain that foreign rice doesn't taste like rice that's why if their children buy foreign rice for them, they will sell it and use the money to buy Abakiliki rice. Seems like media people don't know what to write again

That is the problem with people like u who barely see beyond their nose, Are u aware that the cheap foreign rice u bought two years ago was at the expense of the country's hard earned foreign reserves? are u aware that the cheat rice u were eating was not just ur future u were eating but the future of ur children yet unborn?? Are u aware that the cheap foreign rice u were eating was creating jobs to the populace of another country while Nigerians remain jobless How many countries can boast of Nigerian produced rice the way u boast of foreign rice...

Enugu also have rice locally produced in parts of the state like Oduma, Ugbawka, etc.
They are all good rice that augment those brought into the state from Ebonyi.

You obviously didn't buy the de stoned variety. You bought those straight off the rice mill. Those are often cheaper, but it comes with price of having stones, and have to be sieved after parboiling to sieve out the stones.
