UIS don't accept online documents. I have to send my documents to them via courier. would you advice me to send original of my bank statement, original of my student transcript? I also scored 6.0 in my IELTS. Expecting your replies
For your transcript, you can send a colored photocopy alongside your parceled documents, that's what i used (I had a student copy). The copy actually looked the same as the original copy sef. Though I still went ahead to send my transcript directly from my school as I didn't want to take chances of being denied cos of that, as the instruction is to send directly from ur issuing institution. Besides, I wasn't sure if my school was going to send it before the deadline.#LazyCivilServants. The choice is yours on that.
For your bank statement, I'm sure it cost just N50 to get another bank statement if you need one, so why not send original. Besides you can scan and keep it so you easily print it out if you need it later.
I have said it repeatedly that you don't need English testing for most schools here, UiS inclusive. Just a C6 in ur waec is enough. I already had a toefl score of 100 before finally deciding for Norway but I didn't use it as it adds absolutely nothing to ur application

Infact, I over certified sef..lol! To prevent stories that touch. Infact, I wrote down key points from these thread. Let's hope for the best!

I couldnt upload anything online. More like, there was no option to upload sef. So I sent them a mail to be sure and they told me:

"Dear Ronke,
Thank you for your interest in the University of
Stavanger and your application.
As a non-EU/EEA student you are not able to upload
the required documentation. Everything has to be
send to the university with post or courier.
Please find detailed information as well as the
University’s address here: http://www.uis.no/
noneudocumentation""........

I guess my school will send my transcript to them, then I send the rest myself.

Where and how did you certify your documents?

You can certify at any high court. The whole point is just to make sure your original documents and photocopies of your original documents are the same.

I am a former student at NTNU. But currently living in more liberal and neighboring Sweden. But I have a younger brother who is an applicant to UiS. He applied Marine and Offshore technology (msc) there. With other applications to other universities in Norway and Sweden.

Pls oo @ bosslady1991

How much did it cost you to certify your documents?

Base on my understanding, only transcript of academic records and university diploma ought to be certified. Did I get it right?
Is WAEC certificate also included for certification ? Did you certify ur waec?

Can I pm you? So we connect on whatsApp

Sorry you can not. In addition to your o-level you need atleast 100 level University education.

You can look at neighboring Sweden. With just waec you can get admission. But know that Sweden charges TUITION FEES. The least you get is SEK90k~3.1million per year.

Canada too offers BSc admission for Nigerian waec holders. Tuition also applies

You know 900sek is more than that amount.

The transaction won't go.

I need alternative.
