to he honest, you can't escape injection, gentamycin(gentaleck) injection and either cefuroxin or augmentin tablets should do it,but I still insist you visit a doctor, Nairaland is not a hospital

may be you should try culture and sensitivity test (mcs}. you should be able to get the exact drug that will eradicate it from that test. Not a medical personnel though

Please go and see a proper Doctor in a proper hospital. There are many types of staphylococcus and some are normal skin flora e.g. Staph epidermidis, everybody has that and is a disease. E. Colin is also a normal finding in our excrement and finding them around the genital area doesn't indicate infection. Your symptoms could be due to something totally different. Avoid self medication, avoid advices from non professionals.

the best treatment after test, is to carry out sensitivity test on the bacteria using different antibiotics, which ever one it reacts most will be used by a trained health professional for your treatment, then make sure you follow it up by going for subsequent test maybe after 3months of treatment to know if the bacteria is still remaining. if remaing go back to your Dr for subsequent treatment to completely wipe it out, if not it will keep reoccurring from time to time. Good luck.
