Just imagine MMM still playing for another one year, the kinds of havoc it could have wrecked on the economy and the people would be simply catastrophic. It will range from micro and small businesses closing up on large scale, to serious widespread depression, suicides, high blood pressure, hypertension, marriage breakups, large scale dropouts at higher institutions and parents withdrawing their kids to less standard schools, to rise in general poverty level coupled with the current economic recession.
This is because the longer MMM stay around, the more more people get involved, and the more people become greed and put huge amounts of money into it individually.
Thanks to the operator for applying the break on time, the Association of Concerned Good Citizens of Nigeria is grateful.
Imagine if all these people with N500k and above in MMM had decided to partnership with the people who business ideas (but lack start up capital) to start micro, small and medium scale enterprises!
I hope the lesson was learnt until another ten years to come.

****With MMM, people don't needs loan from banks again to start business. Neither will they consult naijabet or betnaija again.

They will simply wait for 2 to 3 month for money to grow and them will take it to start a serious business without the headache of paying interest every single month.

Have you ever thought that without MMM, the 500k will wouldn't have circulated to those with smaller amount, rather, it will be in the bank for bankers to use them for their profit? But with MMM! The person with 500k can donate to the person with 100k to turn to 130k? Something that wouldn't normally happen?

Your hatred for MMM simply makes you myopic. I can't blame you, you are in a slave society and you just got used to the propaganda of those controlling you.

The image below fittingly describes you.

Let's say I need 100k to start a business. If I go to the bank, I'll be paying 10k monthly as interest! The capital is still there. The same too with credit facilitators.

No tell me, what sort of business will I be doing in this Nigeria so as I'll be able to pay 10k as interest monthly, then I'll feed myself and my family and alsi will be able to pay the capital?

However, with MMM! Even if I can get someone to get me 20k, in I months time, I'll get 32k or 34k. Then if I invite people to it, I'll also be getting interest from their donations. And I can manage that money, let's say I contribute again for the next 3 months! I may even have close to 300k to start a good business without the headache and high BP of thinking of how to pay interest and capital.

If you think you have won, that you have successfully crash MMM, good for you. May God bless you. But please, allow us to rest.

Since you have that money, start a good business. Employ people and pay them peanut. 20k is too much to pay your employees, but it can hardly pay their transport to your place of business a month. Allow us to rest, OK?

Betnaija and merrybet is still running, I'm sure it has been running for years and will continue to run.

Yes, my downlines are getting help. Others are providing, new ones are registering. So, who is complaining?

Nothing is circulating my friend, it is not up to me to educate you. Look at this: the first set of people who PH in Nigeria, whose accounts did their money go? Two, all form of bonuses and referral bonuses in any Ponzi scheme is another evidence that total output (amount paid out) will always be less than input (amount paid in). That's leakage and it's massive on aggregate. N 3 billion naira in, N 1.5 billion naira out.
Now, I'm asking you, where is the gain in totality?

Calling people names is lack of self restraint, but I understand the recent frustration, recession plus Ponzi scheme, bad combo.
Banks don't charge interest of 120% per annum, the same ignorance and ITK that put many of you into the state of regret recently.
Second bolded, which MMM again?

You are still not getting it. MMM wasn't the first Ponzi scheme to come to Nigeria, may be you were a toddler in 2005, may be you were not yet here in the 90s. All Ponzi schemes have varied life spans but always short one. The system is not sustainable. Though, I must admit it, MMM was the first Ponzi scheme in Nigeria that didn't disguise itself. They used to disguise as being into the forex, real estate and all that in the past.

If mmm should have continued for even a month longer at the rate it was going towards december, only God knows what would have happened. I blame poverty, greed, bad government and decline in morality for our predicament in Nigeria

What interest rate does bank charges monthly? Does the interest paid include the principal amount?

You mean your favorite betnaija and merry bet that you and your boss use to milk people dry? You mean they were fast losing customers to MMM? So you had to kill MMM?

News for you. MMM is not dead. MMM cannot die. The site cannot crash. True it is slow for now, but when you are done killing yourself over MMM matter, the activities will pick up fast and furious and you will be left scratching your heads in shame

Banks calculate their interest rate per annum but you pay it back on monthly basis with the principal depending on number of years you are to pay it back. Most banks charges around 29% and below per annum, still high to me. Single digit interest rate would have been better.

So how much interest rate does bank charge per month?

I'm not interested in the news. Marriages breaks daily, not MMM related and still doesn't make the news. Religion like JWs break marriage far too often especially when one partners says he doesn't believe in the teaching anymore.

So, please spare me. I'm not interested and don't try to make it an issue to me.

Still my question, why the attack on MMM, especially as they are so many MMM-like scheme in Nigeria. Why single out MMM?

It appears MMM has taken something from them. Period

How many times will I answer your question? Just divide the total amount of your annual interest rate by 12. Simple. If you borrow 1 million naira at 29% interest rate. Calculate the 29% of 1 million naira and divide it by 12 months.
Second bolded, my thread is not about you, don't make it your personal issue.

They are all MMM copycats, all of them put together can't pull one-tenth of the MMM mumus.
Ponzi Schemes in Nigeria is like a cycle, usually come and go. It has never stayed and can never stay. It would wreck havoc and go. And will come back in another 10 years under different names and modus operandi.
