Mazi Ugohemma, that Lagos was solely developed by Yorubas... where did you read that from... I guess not from the post. I recommend you reread the post and align your comments accordingly.

LAGOS THIS LAGOS THAT....EVEN WHEN NONE OF THEIR FAMILIES HAVE A LAND IN LAGOS...

DO U GUYS KNOW HOW MANY FEDERAL GOVERNMENT PARaSATAL THAT IS HOUSED IN LAGOS....

IF Nigeria is sincere, let all the federal goverment agencies headquaters be shared through all states in Nigeria...

You must be living in another country since up till now you are yet to realize that all federal government agencies were moved to Abuja over 25 years ago when Lagos ceased from being the capital.

I know the wish of you bad belle people, especially you lots from the SE, is for Lagos to stop developing or for something wrong to happen to her, but sorry to burst your bubble coz your wish will remain in the realm of dreams/fantasy. undecided Abuja has been fct for over 25 yrs yet in spite of the FG's absolute neglect of the Lagos gidi still continues to firge ahead thanks to the dedication of her SW administrators who decided to breathe new life to her after her abandonment by the FG.

Even OBJ failed in his quest to destroy the state when he wickedly witheld her due allocations for years, and equally failed when he also asked all Nigerian banks to forcefully relocate to Abuja the fct (the banks did that and noticed/watched their revenues plummet, and consequently relocated back to Lag not minding the consequences). Abuja doesn't contribute jack to Nigeria's GDP, no industries, neither does it have revenue earning streams that go into the Federal coffers like Lagos does (like airports, borders, seaports) so why should Lagos feel threatened by her? Tinubu initiated Eko Atlantic City without FG input, the Light rail and other infrastructural projects are state govt initiated. Abj on the other hand doesn't even generate igr and depends solely on fg.

Yoroubas stop deceiving yourselves.... You guys did not develop Lagos, and No tribe can hold on to Lagos as their own in terms of development.

Yinmu. You certainly dont know what you are talking about. Lagos stopped enjoying FG attention and was abandoned by the FG since '91 in favour of Abj in terms of development. Up until '99 when Tinubu took over as uts governor the state had stopped developing. The Lagos everyone is talking about and praising today is the brainchild of Tinubu and his successors. #Fact. Without their diligence in resurrecting the dying state i am sure you lots would have been abusing Yorubas for allowing the state to deteriorate, yet you refuse to give them credit for birthing the modern Lagos of today.

Looolx cheesy

Why not start by telling us where Yoruba don't dominate in lagos?
You lot are quite delusional, and yes, the last general election exposed you all.
You don't just go about pulling off figures out of the blue, dude. It's doesn't make sense at all.

Mind you, the massive development in Lagos and ogun et al is as a result of SW govs efforts, their ability to attract investors into their region which your state gov have over the years failed to achieve.

Now,ask yourself, if you think I am lying, ' why is Ogun state the most industrialized state as of today ? Well, all thanks to God and amusu land policy.

As for the ugohemma or whatever fella talking like an ignorant kid about other tribes fighting Yorubas for governorship, so .. You expect Yorubas all over the region to just fold their arms and watch that happen?? The fcvk outta here. Listen, non-yorubas have been vying for governorship of the state under lesser known parties since the advent of the fourth republic but no one bothers to pay attention to them fro here to there. The igbos especially will never smell Lagos state governorship, not after their latest belligerence towards their Yoruba hosts. No major political party would even make such a suicidal move of picking one of una as a flag-bearer because the yorubas control the party machineries of the two major political parties in the state, so unless yorubas themselves endorse such a person just forget it. If una wan rule Lagos so badly, you can create a state in Bearfra and name it Lagos and rule it from there. Until then, you can only keep dreaming. undecided

They forgot the time before Tinubu when Lagos was littered every where with refuse, and crime was very high, places like Oshodi was a criminal den and vehicles couldn't go across the bridge to Mushin.

Everything there was built by the previous FG when Lagos was capital. Funded by oil proceedings from the Niger delta, where every Nigerian comes to sweat and toil for a living. Abuja belongs to all Nigerians now as it is the capital. Same way Lagos belongs to us all, being the capital of Nigeria from pre independence to post independence.
