I think you have to run them within the space of 1 month as they use your cycle to determine which one to come first.

yes ma u can do one per month, but all the tests has a particular day of ur cycle u are to do it, so if possible ask dem at d lab so u can bear that in mind... like hsg heard u cannot do it close to ur ovulation period, den prolactin or so think its cd3 ...that's why me am waiting 4 my next cycle( tho I have faith and praying deyd b no next cycle till after my baby is born)

Do not be sad sis. Thank God there is some spillage in the left tube. You need to tackle the hydrosalpinx though and open the right tube.
Serrapeptase; castor oil therapy and Chinese teas to the rescue.
Use Clean point tampon. Look for astragalus - either tea or pill. Also echinacea tea, bought at the spar on Adeola Odeku (so fresh on Awolowo road also has).
I just made some orders on amazon.co.uk (oyinbos call them tea, but they are actually herbs/concoctions. Lol), when it comes, I can spare you some echinacea and astragalus (if you stay in Lagos).

My marriage is 5months old, BT hubby is already getting disturbed on baby issue. My marriage nearly collapsed on top this issue last week


I've gone for over 3 hvs culture- no infection.
I've gone for scan and attached is the result.
After the scan hsg was suggested. We counted and that day was my CD 10, so I paid and we started hsg after some preparatory test. I didn't know hsg was DT painful. I shouted like a mad woman, couldnt control myself. I couldn't complete the test. The right fallopian tube and uterus were completed but the right I couldn't wait. Also at a time, blood was flowing back to the equipment. They asked me if I've ever had a d& c b4, I answered in the negative. The also asked if I've ever been pregnant or had abortion ,I also answered in d negative. I think they were trying to ascertain why blood was flowing back. The guy said something abt weak tubes but could not confirm as I couldn't wait for him to complete so that I can have a result.


The first test hubby went d lab said he had ecoli. He was given drugs. Sperm count was 60m. After d drugs, he went for a second d test in another lab, they said he has staph. Sperm count dropped to 50mil. He was also given drugs dt were sensitive in d culture. When he took d lab results to his office doc who was also a friend, d guy told him d labs couldn't interpreted what they were seeing. That there is no way he will have Infection while I don't have same. The doctor referred him to d best hospital in the state he works ( we work and live In different states, 4 hours apart.)

I've not seen the result of his last time, BT after he saw it, he went hard on me. DT all his colleagues DT wedded same day with us are already talking DT their wives are pregnant. I tried to calm him down DT we don't live together for now . we only get to see weekends . my ovulation falls mostly on Sundays and I must travel back to base same Sunday or latest Monday morning.
Sorry for my long and uncoordinated post, DTS how I feel now.

1.My hubby said I should go for fibroid operation or have it treated. DTS its d fibroid DT is d culprit. I have 2 subserosal fibroid, I was told it can't prevent conception

2. My period is regular. Can someone be mensurating without ovulating?

3 what day of the cycle is homonal assay done?

4. My job is somehow stressful.it involves moving from one location / site to another. Can stress be affecting me?

5. Am currently on cd2 , cycle after my first attempt on hsg. I've not had this kind of heavy flow all my life. My period is painful this cycle.

6. I've already bought tamoxifen . I may not take it till am sure every other factor is OK.I also bought ruzu bitters

Omotutu please don't write off yourself. We have seen worse cases here that have even recorded bfps. Look at our latest preggy mama on board, Adelolo. She has been blessed despite doctors diagnosis. God is the ultimate doctor and He has not said NO to you. So dont give up sweetie.

@mama twiny...cheer up. And yes stress could affect but most importantly the fact that you and your hubby are not cohabiting could also be delaying conception. You may still need to go for a pain free HSG to find out about your tubes as well. My dear no pain no gain oo.

mamatwiny, I vex, I vex ehn when I saw your post, am also 5mnths in marriage. I understand hubby sha cos all his friends that got married same time are expecting, but its not of him that willeth or runneth but God that showeth mercy.
you people don't even stay in same house, me and my hubby Wey dey sleep and wake togeda, still no show, so how would u people kpekus well during ur fertile period? abi na immaculate conception? atimes before we even start noticing signs of ovulation its too late cos d egg stays just 24hrs and it takes the sperm 6hrs to get to d fallopian tube, hence most doctors prefer the egg meet sperm routine. so which way?

the pressure he's mounting on you won't help the matter self, you guys have taken good steps by going for tests but still doesn't give him the right to stress you. I guess because of ur age you are worried too, If u don't have a gynea pls get one that listens and explains tinz very well, also try and go 4 painless hsg, some mama's here know where you can go and you won't feel a pin of pain. the pain self affects the result cos u won't be relaxed.

as for the fibroid some mamas have taken stuffs that shrink it I think, that sub-kini stuff alto its outside sha just try and get rid of it bcs that's what hubby thinks is hindering conception, except you remove it or get pregnant he won't change his mind, if u like preach and explain from now till next year.

you can also try Castor oil therapy and in all pls be prayerful. we wrestle not against flesh and blood but principalities and power. if God says yes, nobody can say no. am sending you plenty love and kisses okay? oya no dey tensh(tensed) again.

Pregnant without fibroid surgery,without hydrotubation.just faith in God. Please let them give you the negative report but you make them your prayer points. The pressure hubby is giving you is not fair. For all you care, the problem might be from him, with the e coli and Staph. Although Dr's like to treat husband and wife together in cases of infection, but it is possible you don't get infected if you have excellent immune system. Early in my marriage, I contracted TB, my hubby didn't contract. Immediately I was diagnosed and Dr said we shouldn't kiss or be intimate for about 2 months, hubby no gree, immediately I got home the guy was all over me kissing (deep kissing for that matter) and all, no matter how I protested. Till today, he did not contract the TB. It is all a function of immunity.

You need to complete the HSG. You need to know what is going on with the tubes. It is painful, but people are doing it. The liquid flowing back indicates blocked tubes. Your level of pain indicates blocked tubes. And the questions they asked you also indicate blocked tubes (although they should have told you exactly what they saw). If almost or all the sperm also flows back after you and hubby kpekus, another pointer to blocked tubes. Even though not only d&c causes it, It may also be caused by PID. Did they give you any result at all?

Give yourself 1-2 months before you go back. Start aggressively, serrapeptase, wobenzyme n, Yi Mu Cao and Xi Xian Cao teas, castor oil therapy and massages. Do the therapy at least once a day, some do it twice. People have unblocked their tubes in 3 months or less.

Other sabi mamas will advice on the fibroid (that is not my forte).

Yes, you can menstruation and not ovulate. You can buy opks to track ovulation. You may need to use egg/ovulation inducing drugs and go for follicular tracking, but that should be after you know what's going on with your tubes.

If I am tempted to think my job is stressful and maybe hindering conception, I just look at the pregnant women running up and down selling stuff in hold-ups, and I tell myself say na my time never reach.

Put yourself at ease sis. Belle will come when you are at ease.
