I hope you can understand that the muslims are the victims here and if anything this should strengthen Canada's resolve to be welcoming to innocent muslims who are now facing terrorist violence just as unjustly as it is when it is done by muslims to other people.

The attackers may be Christians but there is no reason to suggest that they are Christians any more than there is a reason to believe they could be Hindu. A more reasonable approach to deduction in this case is to reason that the attackers are most likely far right nationalists, defending strong political views.
