Pls i want to know if i can get a cool cheap hotel when i land. I'm staying in dubai for only 2 weeks.

I already booked one on Booking dot com, for the sake of the immigration folks, but i cant stay there as that hotel and the others i'v seen online are very expensive.

Someone advised deira, but how can i get one same day i'm landing.

I obviously don't know your qualifications, experience or background.

Development scale in Dubai is remarkable and I would suspect (based on my own experiences) it is unlikely you will have managed anything anywhere near as large as home. Recently I visited one project site and they had 5,000 workers on it! I am not questioning your abilities - just trying to give you the picture.

Considering the following is very important:

1.) The weather is a huge factor, particularly in the role that you mentioned above, where you will be working outdoors pretty much alllllll day long.

2.) Most site operatives are Indian/Asian so communication may be a problem.

3.) Often the Supervisors are Indians/Asian also and the salaries are very, very low.

I would suggest you come with 3 months visa and search for other jobs other than construction jobs.

Whilst recruitment agencies are great, do not limit yourself to them. Target employers directly as well. Apart from contractors, try the major developers as well such as Emaar, Nakheel, Lyra International, Schon Properties, etc.

I disagree, u can find job anytime, I came during Ramadan period, started bombarding CVs online 2 days after my arrival & i was invited for interview exactly 1 week, but I jons for the interview shaa.
