samtomwunmadex: Chai! Mehn... i feel your pain o,i thought mine was longer, it obvious yours is... the fact is they won't tell you why they are taking this long. its a different case when you are seeking for asylum- that takes a year from sources. Just to go study and come back, its taking eternity... |

Adedrizzy: Sorry for the delay, ur refusal reasons are all based on funds. you need to share you profile and let people see from the VO angle. |

michV: Thanks alot I appreciate ur honest response. I've gone through this thread and am thinking a well written SOP can be convincing enough. Secondly, the friend is using his company account, is it not possible to say it's scholarship? Am backing it up with my mum's account, my account and some landed documents. |

Hello Gurus, Please i have a question again. Please see below of my first year tuition and living allowance for the first year 31,203Cad (N7,363,976) using(236 Naira to 1Cad) My sponsor and i have in total the sum of 6.6m in our accounts and a receipt of land purchase in Jun 2016 of N6m with the approved Land survey My sponsor has been running her account for over 10 years. I just want to ask if its reasonable to go ahead to apply for study permit like that with the current state of account balance Or we shld make sure we have a total sum on cash in account greater than 7.4m before we apply. Thanks |

michV: Bro can I pm u? |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Austinpee4: 12:28pm On Jan 31, 2017 |
vvvvvvvvvvvvvvv:If your sponsor is parent(s) and not a 3rd party and the account is always well funded with very good inflow of cash and you've been able to show this as well as the relationship to sponsor, having the said total amount in the tune of 7.4m might not be so much a thing of worry. Yes, CIC stipulated 10k in addition to tuition but from records here, having a reliable sponsor(parents/family member) with a fairly or good closing balance BUT very good inflow of cash and stable income to show sponsor can generate enough cash to fund your studies always pass too. Advise will be, if you truly know the person will sponsor you, let her transfer a good amount to your account and mention it in the letter of sponsorship in addition to your own cash. Show evidence and source of your own too. #key Show good proves and evidence he/she earns well to be responsible for your studies.(this is really important) *closing and available balance will mean nothing if fiqures does not reflect average income and are not sustainable* |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Eraytee: 12:35pm On Jan 31, 2017 |
Amamicable: just as @michV pointed out in the other post, if you dont have work experience both past or present in Nursing, u risk ur app of the popular "PURPOSE OF VISIT". land docs, fat acc statement plus home ties is not even enough to give u a visa approval if ur purpose of visit is not well address to the VO. |

Austinpee4: Yes , my sponsor is my mum. and she runs her business by herself Yes, CIC stipulated 10k in addition to tuition but from records here, having a reliable sponsor(parents/family member) with a fairly or good closing balance BUT very good inflow of cash and stable income to show sponsor can generate enough cash to fund your studies always pass too. Austinpee4: Am so sure she will support, and half of the 2m out of the 6.6m is already in my account with all necessary documentation to back it up Austinpee4: |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Austinpee4: 1:00pm On Jan 31, 2017 |
vvvvvvvvvvvvvvv:Hope the business has and will generate enough cash to cover you, any dependant and herself throughout the duration of your program. If that is the case, give it a shot. Let her state that the 2.2m she transfered to you is for your upkeep. The remaning balance in her account will also count as long as she doesn't have so much financial burden in addition to your study and can clearly show her business is bouyant enough to withstand all financial responsibilities both for you, herself, any dependants and her personal needs. All the best in your application |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Nobody: 1:08pm On Jan 31, 2017 |
@ adedrizzy who is your sponsor? is it your Biological Parents? What is the relationship between you and your sponsor, did you prove it? Did your sponsor declare any specific amount for you? Did your sponsor proof his source of income? The inflow/outflow from your sponsor(s) account was it consistent and substantial? Did you pay your fees? Not compulsory, but important if sponsor is third party. Did your sponsor transfer money to your account and justify it? Not compulsory, but important if sponsor is third party. The available balance in your sponsor account could it cover your total expenses for a year? Answer all the questions, we can continue later.. |

Genius000: Hello @Genius000 My sponsor is not my biological parent, he is my uncle and we aren't bearing the same surname. He had an account balance of 9m with an inflow and outflow of more than 30m, he even did an affidavit of sponsorship for me , he didn't transfer any money to my account but showed proof that he was the one that paid half of my fees. How exactly do i tackle this or do i need to order for a GCMS note? Cos i was thinking of paying my full school fees and also hostel fees. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Eraytee: 1:56pm On Jan 31, 2017 |
Adedrizzy: Do well to order for ur gcms files asap, that would actually give you an edge to tackling those reasons. |

Pls I asked a question cos had gone through the Google search n it says my info doesn't match my application Pls asking questions on this forum is to be guided Pls I appreciate ur answer but pls I don't like the cold response A simple google search meaning A lot of people on this forum do a lot of over Sabi too much |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Osemigho: 7:41pm On Jan 31, 2017 |
Kemsure30: What if I tell you that you added the coldness to the response, will you believe? You read a statement, then attached emotions to it yourself. When you feel you have done enough search and gotten none or overwhelmed, you should ask questions stating that you have done your part but lost. Then you will see the reply will change. Let's try and be more open to people's reply and suggestions. Now, ask your question again, emphasing with evidence that you have done some searching but probably lost. 2 Likes |

Amamicable: Convincing SOP is like icing(extra) on a cake(profile). It only make better a good cake. If you have no UG degree and or years of experience in the field of your admission, don't bother, save yourself the money and delay trauma. Please, take note of "years of experience" when your UG degree is not related to new field. Company account is complicated enough not to talk of adding to it as friend's company account. Best statement of account is personal or family members account covering fees and living expenses. Avoid cash Lodgement with no responsible explanation in LOE/SOP. |

We are here to help eachother Anyway in linking ur paper application online the details must be entered exactly the way u filled it during ur application. so kindly recheck the details again and with ur copy of your application on hand and enter the details in the same format. Goodluck |
