I remember whe someone here said FO(forte Oil) would get to N100, na him I run go buy at N79. Two days later, the thing just fell to N69. Luckily for me it rose to N74, and I cut my loss. Na him I carry de money go put for FCMB hoping to recover the loss. Now even de FCMB dey give me fear as it has not stayed above my purchase price since then I am tired of 'cutting ma loss' |

DeRuggedProf: [UAE confirms no income tax yet, but 5% VAT is coming - Emirates 24|7] http://www.emirates247.com/business/uae-confirms-no-income-tax-yet-but-5-vat-is-coming-2016-02-25-1.622208 Yes it's been in the pipeline all this while probably a 5% tax on some certain (LUXURY) goods and definitely not an INCOME TAX |

@Fxuser, Whats your take on the result's that came out yesterday any company make it among them all? |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by fxuser: 8:14am On Feb 01, 2017 |
ihedioramma: I hardly look at the results again oh. I follow charts and they don't lie Index was already warning us to be ready for further bearish move. I remain very defensive, too many bad eggs can spoil market for the few good ones too |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by feelamong(m): 8:21am On Feb 01, 2017 |
i just took some time off to look at the Forte Oil result once again.. Its not as bad as its made to look here. Clearly their problem is net Finance cost...no wonder they have proactively gone ahead to raise bond in the Capital market. That should enable them to pay off some of the expensive loans they are presently carrying....I also like the fact that they did not go the route of paying dividends this year! I will be watching closely to see how low it falls... 19% growth in Revenue in these difficult times is not a a joke! (although their cost of sales is also not very good) 2 Likes |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by DeRuggedProf: 9:20am On Feb 01, 2017 |
feelamong: I may be wrong, but I feel you should trade the current market and rely more on signals from charts. After you have made good cash in the CURRENT MARKET, you can then trade FUTURE MARKET with companies having POTENTIALS.... There are many undervalued coys that can give you good div/cap appreciation in a few weeks. It is the LOOT from them that investor will carry come push up those companies with potentials and still make 50% in FLOURMILLS. B4 this time, your cash will just HANG in the stock...And if you are not careful, you may even exit out of frustration just at the verge of the stock entering its bull phase (BULL SHAKE OUT).... 1 Like |
