Just to encourage us,With time, we will all look back and smile. Our years of TTC will become testimonies.

In one of our offices, we had two ppl that were TTC. Mrs c has been TTC for 9 years. Mrs a for abt 15yrs.

Mrs A started doing ivf before ivf came to Nigeria. Then its was over 2m for one ivf. She had d money and was willing to spend it. Mrs c was just a contract staff, didn't have much for treatments but was trying her best.

In 2015, Mrs A was given 3 months suspension without pay for a fraud she didn't commit. We didn't know God was at work. She came back pregnant after abt 15 yrs TTC with several failed ivf . she put to bed twins. A year later she conceived again and bore a child. B4 she got pregnant many ppl said she was past menopause. She shld stop wasting her money. Bt God had a different plan for her. She was so excited DT she will open her tummy for u to see the navel and DT itsnt fake.

Mrs C conceived months later after Mrs a . She bore a son. She also put to bed another child this January.

As I speak to you, these two women have forgotten their sorrows. Their joy knows no bounds. When I see them share their pics bday on fb, I just thank for his goodness.

good morning all, just saw this page and felt this is the right place for me to ask my question. will appreciate all the advice i can get. i got married last year and have been ttc, around middle january, i noticed am always feeling sick, constant headache, tiredness, nauseous, cramps, constipation, i even had spotting. goggled the symptoms, was celevbrating inside me as goggle said its signs of early pregnancy. today is 7th january and i havn't seen my period since this year. now to my question, i went for a pt test yesterday, before the lady incharge gave me my result, she and the lab attendant was acting funny, had long section of secret conversation. after which the lady came and met me in the waiting room room and was like even though i didnt. pay for consultatiin, that she just wants to help me. was asking quesrions like when was the last time i saw my period, how long have i been ttc, i answered all her questions. she now said that if a lady wants to conceive, that it is normal that she runs some test to be sure she isnt sick or having any infection so it wnt affect the baby. and that ahe is to be taking some medications before taking in. she now said i should give her a minute. she came back later and was like my result came back negative, that she even went to check again noe just to be sure but it still read negative but i should now register with them so they can start running the test on me and also give me some drugs i'll be taking. Now i might be wrong, i might be right too. but for some reasons, am suspecting she gave me the wrong result so i can come and start the test and what not with their clinic. please os that even possible, have any one had that kinda experience. please i'll appreciate all your advice

@mummykryti no vex sis, yeah preseed is the known sperm friendly lube for now.Coconut oil hasn't been tested and trusted in that regard so pls stick to preseed . I know it may cost more but,God will continue to provide for your family and give you a bfp sooner than you expected.

@mummykyrti, thanks for the coconut oil recipe u gave here, it's just very easy n saves time. I freezed n get the milky part on top n cooked in less than 10mins. I just did small quantity shaa. Thank u.

@Curvylicious, u have heard what the mamas has advised. Ignore him, just assume he is not living with u but that doesn't stop u from feeding him. Pls don't think of leaving ur man rather pray that God should take d lil boy out of ur house so u ll have peace. I prayed dis kind of prayer when my sil was misbehaving, God heard me n used her brothers i.e. my bil's to sent her out of my house.

Yes ma'm, preseed and the likes, in most pharmacies i only see Pre-seed. Yes Baby, Conceive Plus and Astroglide (u will find regular astroglide more in naija) are hardly in pharmacies.

the lord will all grant us our heart desires. i just talked to my mum about this, she said if the pregnancy is not upto 6 weeks, the blood test wnt detect it yet, the doctors know dat but wnt tell you. so she adviced i mind the drugs i take so i dnt loose the baby just incase, then go back to a different hospital, prefarably govt hospital when i feel the pregnancy will be from seventh week and above. thanks a lot. knowing am not alone in this is a lot helpuful. i appreciate

@olaedoh did you test using the pregnancy test strip? When last did you see your period? Is your period always regular? And how long have you been trying? God will answer you and give you your heart desire.

@ olaedoh I don't think that info about blood test not detecting pregnancy till 6wks. Maybe scan but test can detect as early as 10-12days post ovulation. Other mama's correct me if am wrong.

anistef and olaedoh u guys can do TVs or even ultra sound scan, if there is a sac(baby) there it would detect it and ul b told to come bk @ 6weeks. as for blood pt not being able to detect pregnancy till 6weeks I duno, myb depends on individual, lots of my friends blood pt detected even bfre they missed their periods... its urine I know that takes time bcs of the hcg hormone not circulating enough.

Abi, my hubby is the same, me sef i don free myself, i cannot come and go and die. Everytime i buy or use something he goes "u have started all those ur rituals abi" i go just weak.

Yes there are specific days for both HSG & TVS, that way you can get accurate result

HSG is to be done after AF has stopped and b4 O, so it doesn't interfer with O. for a regular cycle of 28days it is advised to have the HSG test bewteen cycle day 9 - 11, CD10 being the most ideal and frequently used

for TVS, if it is for tracking O, you are advised to have 3 - 4 episodes on cd10, cd12, cd14, cd16 in a 28days cycle but most people usually pick 3 episodes to save cost and stress. CD's for TVS may be altered according to cycle late and if cycle is medicated or not.

1st episode to check for dominate follicle(s) and size, endometrium size and predict when ovulation may occur
2nd episode to compare growth level of follicles, endometrium from previous episode, and decide either to trigger or not
3rd episode to check if follicle released egg i.e if ovulation occured

Thanks sis, I live in Abuja , the HSG is for sometime this month, a friend said i could use Tramadol some minutes before the procedure.
The yeast, i think it's gone. I used Clean Point and Gyno something...those ones you insert inside the jajaina. I also went for HVS and it came out clear, I am still trusting God for total and absolute healing.

welcome ma'am, please walk into any lab around you and ask them to do a blood pt for you. Pregnancy can be detected as early as 2 weeks after conception it doesn't have to be after 6 weeks. Please don't go back to that hospital they are probably looking for money with their two eyes.
