My sister, I have gone and come back o. Did it last week. I did not feel any pain at all only slight pressure from the instrument that went into me. I took ibuprofen pain killers about 5mins before being called in for my turn. Also, while the procedure was on, I tried to relax and not be tense. Anytime, I was tensed up, I noticed down there (veejay) will tighten around the instrument. One mama here had said how her being tense screwed up her first HSG result, so me I respected myself. The lab man also told me not to shake o. So I knew I cannot come n waste 10k or open leg unnecessarily for a 2nd HSG.

Awesome! I'll remember to stay calm when i go for mine. How was the result? Did you have tubal issues before going for the HSG or you just decided to check on your own? No vex for too many questions abeg.

Dearie, it's not an argument. I'm sorry if I offended you by taking sides with mummykyrti. But when you see a TTC mother weeping brokenly because she was scammed by such people, you can't help but wish evil, even death on them. My sister has been there. I don't want anyone to have such a painful story too that was why I spoke up in case a new mama here contacts them.

Mummykyrti , I dont know about Union but my lab takes 10k for HSG, 10k for Hormonal profile and 1k for pelvic scan.
Some take 15k for each of the first two and 3k for pelvic scan.

Pls how is hormonal profile sample collected? I read online about saliva collection for it. Is that how its collected here? Is blood sample or opening of leg involved in this one?
Just want to be prepared. Tomorrow my day 21, I am going for it.

hsg 10k that's cheap o. The last one I did mid last year was 22k

a woman needs just 1 mature follicle to carry belle. she might produce 10 to 25follies, but only 1,2, or 3 would grown to maturity and be fertilization worthy.

would advice you look for another doc/hospital, that asst is half baked

@curvilicious, i feel ur pains, seems ur dh is very very hot tempered, to slap u in ur moms presence not once but twice, only a very hot tempered and angry man would that.
we dont really know all that happened, but find someone that doesnt know you, who you can relate the whole story and get beta advice. i believe some mature God fearing mamas dey this thread

Lol,hmmmmm 15 follicles? Na football team.i believe when stimulated with clomid or letrozole n u achieve 15 matured follicle a reason doctor will advise you to cancel that cycle to avoid having a dozen children.

my dear chrissyjay I don't kW how I can send u d Herb 6 u don't stay around rivers state dat y I cld't reply u. or do u have smbody in p.h here.d herb need to b prepared on ur order. cos is b don with water and can go bad if u don't put it in d fringe. but u can start ur Castor oil therapy immediately cos it also help. thanks

Will get the result tomorrow. Didn't have tubal issues o. My doctor sent me for it and other tests to know what and what they should tackle. The questions are not many. We are all here to help ourselves.

God dey dear. The cyst is diff. Infection was found in my hvs (vaginal swab) result. And Hubby's SFA. Not serious one but serious enough to affect conception. This wait is almost over jor.

amen ooo, I'll still do hvs again then, duno why I always get recurrent yeast infection, if hvs didn't show any other infection asides yeast, does it mean na just candida dey disturb me?

i contacted a gynae and run hormonal tests,scans and hsg. at the end of the tests, it was revealed that bith tubes were blocked (bilateral hydrosalpinx).
i was on ovacare for 3 months. i am currently using castor oil for massage and also using a chinese moxibustion box along side fuyan pills. i have done a lot my sister.
dh's test cme out very well.he has no problem.

According to the Doctor , he recommended laparascopic laser vaporisation. I'm still trying to find out if there's one in Ondo State(I mean Navy hospital). My findings have not really yielded any positive result. I wish we can get one close-by, probably in Lagos.

However, if your consultation with the said expert produces a competent hospital/doctor, we'll be grateful.

I'm really impressed by the cares, concerns and high degree of selflessness you mamas have shown. A big thanks to you all.

Their HSG isn't painless o, I took paracetamol before the procedure and yet I felt the pain but I had to endure.

One major cause of Hydro is PID or aftermath of an infection.
