joe120120: Very suspicious. To think the mom gave birth to 28 of then. That means she should be older than Buhari more than a year. And they are the only two remaining! How come he is 10 years older than Buhari? |

Yes speaking with him everyday is not what that matters, what matters is being fit to rule. If he cannot continue due to his health, should have some rest and allow someone else that is fit to rule, instead of mounting unnessary pressure upon himself and making the situation worst for himself. |

ybalogs:Actually it is theoretically possible. Remember they used no contraception and marriage was very early. Latest by age 14. With only breastfeeding as mild short term natural contraception, a woman can get pregnant every 15 months. Considering the high rate of infant mortality back then, around half of those 28 kids might not have survived the first few months. Meaning getting pregnant very soon again. As no baby to suckle and slightly naturally delay pregnancy. Assuming she remained fertile till age of 55, that means she had 40 years to birth 28 kids. Some even remain fertile till age 58. Also factor in possible twins. If exaggerated maybe only slightly. 21 to 25 kids easily possible |

AreaFada2:do u really believe this story so if u really do. what happened to 26 others, do u really think 26 children could just wipe like that? even when they had head of state and also aspiring to become a president, how could Nigerians fall cheaply for this story, o Come'on. just tell us how the president is and stop bringing this thing for us to read. |

tonex360:Lol. I do not know o. Buhari's first daughter Zulai died some years back at the age of 40. From complications from sickle cell anaemia days after giving birth. That happened in this age with better medical care. Let alone back then. Remember Buhari was even last born. So other of her siblings would be from 75 years to over 100 if still alive now. But life expectancy in Nigeria is below 55 years currently. So possible to have lost all the others already. I do not know what Bubu has but I'm just looking at it from a biological/clinical perspective. But if Zulai was Bubu's biological child, then one can safely conclude that he/Bubu would have sickle cell trait (SCT) as a carrier. Which by the way also affects 10% of African-Americans for example and usually causes no sickle cell disease. |

annayawchee:Not only sister, but the only "surviving" elder sister, from their mother's children, and Buhari is the last born of his mother, meaning the others are dead and this woman and Buhari are the only children of their mother still alive. Obviously it's a polygamous family, so they'll have step-brothers and sisters that will still be alive. |
