It should not be a problem. You just need to submit proofs of your relationship. Check the link below, section "Evidence of common-law union and cohabitation for more details on the proofs you have to provide: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp toyinakande: |

Wow congrats! Pls what materials did you use to study for ielts? Your scores are epic. Kindly tell which materials and tips on how you studied to achieve this. Qquote author=behati post=53576104]Good day house, been a silent reader but hope to participate from now. I just got ITA and will be sharing my timelines below. ECA- Nov. 2016: this was very fast as I submitted scanned copies of transcript and degree certificates, paid international courier fee to have WES send verification letter to my school via courier. Had someone who assisted with the verification in less than 5 days of the school receiving it. Everything took about one month. IELTS: Jan 7th, collected result Jan 20. LSWR: 8.5, 7.5, 8,8. EE pool: Created two profile on 21 Jan. I claimed 3 years experience in one and two years in the other as I have only completed two years in my current place of work, however, I have one year experience from a different company. CRS scores: 474 and 449 respectively. ITA: received on both profile on 8 Feb 2017. However, I accepted the profile with 449 as it may be difficult getting reference from my former employer. I've been gathering all documents, and POF is basically the outstanding item. My sister will be transferring the money to me and I will appreciate if anyone can give me a sample gift deed. Thanks [/quote] |

Should I include Schedule A form as I have been previously rejected a UK visa? I read somewhere that if any of the statutory questions are answered in the affirmative, it is best to include the form as it might be requested later. So just a strategy to save time. |

@ Hally: thanks a bunch for your response. My Husband just got his Indian Police clearance from the indian embassy in Abuja. @dupyshoo, vcole, esosa and all successful PPR peeps: I have some questions please kindly respond. 1. I started this journey over a year ago and contacted David Cohen, However, am not ready to continue with them which i have also notified them after receiving ITA. i would like to know that in creating an account with CIC, Am faced with creating an account with GCKEY or Sign in Partner which should i use. 2. I have a work reference letter from my current employer dated October 2015, which i gave the law firm then, do i need to get a new one with a recent date from my supervisor or the old one can still fly. Will be standing by for responses. Thank you all for the amazing job you do on this amazing platform 1 Like |

Hello everyone. I have decided not to be very silent anymore because I have met amazing souls on this thread. It's the most informative thread I have come across. Iphi, Dupyshoo to mention a few, thanks a million. You have been soo helpful. Weldone guys you are doing fantastic jobs here. Vcloe, fusion23, Jesus the way, slowlybut surely. I read all your meaningful contributions and input. Congratulations are in order to those who have received ITA, COPR, PPR and those who are yet to receive. Our Joy will all be full at the fullness of time. I have decided to ask some questions openly for the benefit of the thread which I have largely benefited from. As I await ITA (dupyshoo and Iphie you know what I mean) , I would really like to know if there should be a particular relationship that CIC will not question between and donor and donee in a deed of gift. Simply put, can a man gift the money to his fiance? 2 Likes |

Nobody said the accompanying spouse "has" to transfer the funds. What has been said here is that the accompanying spouse has transferred POF funds to the PA's account for app purposes and such apps have been successful going by the individual experiences of those on this thread who went down this route. The canadavisa forum is a forum where people share their individual experiences. Some people have stated on that forum that they have used their spouse's accounts and their apps have been successful. However, I am yet to relate with any such Nigerian applicant who has done so successfully. That however, is besides the point. The point is that the app is being sent to IRCC, who have clearly outlined what they mandate as acceptable proof of funds on their website. It clearly states that the POF should be in an account that bears the PA's name. You can clarify further on the ircc website and bear in mind that every visa officer has a bit of lee way to accept or reject certain documents at their own discretion. So it is possible, VOa doesn't have a problem with spouse account but VOb does. At the end of the day, the choice is yours to make for your application. It would be nice for you to share your timeline and experience as well as I do not remember you being active on this thread in recent times. It would help future and on-going applicants. merrymum: 3 Likes |

Ok. I appreciate your responses. I just wanted to clarify, and like you said, what works for A might not work for B. The snapshot was actually a part of a mail sent to someone by CIC. Thanks very much all. 1 Like |

Well, before i submitted my app, i had read on canadavisaforum about people uploading schedule A alongside loe when submitting their eAPR as it would be requested for later. However, i didn't. I have been refused a uk visa in the past and did not get a schedule A request at all. So, its up to you. Beem4cupid: 1 Like |

@vcole. I just submitted my EE application as my husband's ECA was really delayed. So hoping for ITA soon. Trying to put together my documents (those I can do upfront anyways). Thanks for your reply. |

I also think a loe almost always works for areas that may seem confusing. So, for instance if you use your spouse's account, then mentioning it in your loe and your spouse writing a letter as well may just clarify any ish with the visa officer. merrymum: |

Hello House,Can anyone put me through on how to get my remaining documents to WES. The certificate? Read that they don't receive documents via mail but I saw a Fax notification.Want to know if I can send it via Fax or it has to be by courier? Or any better option of sending documents from my own end. Thanks. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by dupyshoo: 1:21pm On Feb 10, 2017 |
Sincerely, I have not seen where it was stated explicitly who can or can't give funds to PA. Most people only make statements based on past experiences of people that have submitted and got PPR. In my own opinion, for rest of mind and for a more straightforward application, I think it will be better if he transfers the money to the PA's close relative. The close relative should then do the gift deed. This does not mean that if the money is transferred directly to the PA from the fiance, the application will be refused. Glxy: |
