komekn:

Chukwudi beat MRI scan are you sure
? This guy was my friends senior who finished high school in 2000. Meanwhile he claimed U17 in 2009.

I have quit a few discussions on age cheating with people denying that it's far from rampant and that the MRI scan has largely ended the practice.

One thing I do know is that a 15 year old will not remain the same after 5 years in body or in facial features. Omeruah has remained largely the same physically in facial features and body since 2009.

While the Football Associations were required to conduct MRI tests in 2009, testing by FIFA was random. Not until 2011 was the FIFA testing mandatory.

I used to be skeptical about Nigerian age-grade teams until I met a group of boys in track suit at MMA in Lagos sometime in 2014. My thought was that these most be some secondary school boys jetting out for some high school competition. A few minutes later, my younger brother pointed out Amunike to me as he walked towards the boys. It was at that point I realised that these were members of the national U-17 team jetting out for some qualifiers. That day marked the turning point for me and I got interested again in nigerian youth teams. The WYC in 2015 was the first youth tournament I watched with interest since the 2005 final (and I only watched that because it was the finals and I wanted to see the much talked about Mikel Obi). I didn't even watch a single match of the 2013 U-17 world cup in UAE! No one was more skeptical than I was about institutional age cheating in Nigerian football, and it took me meeting the amuneke boys face to face to believe these guys are not far from their declared ages. Hell, I even couldn't believe they were 17 as I thought they were still in secondary school!

Trust me, they fall within the stipulated age bracket. I also believe that with or without MRI, it will become increasingly difficult for players to falsify their ages in the interconnected world we live in now. The reason why we don't doubt the ages of players from advanced economies is not because they are honest but because the records management system in those countries make it difficult. I see the same thing happening in 3rd world countries too, since there is increasing access to records through social media and other websites

Tglobal That is really good to hear, I am encouraged.

But because the rewards of age cheating can result in immense advantage financial and otherwise in societies where there is limited digital data and comprehensive documentation it will continue.

I was at a EPL club thats within the top 6 watching the U8's play with the U9's. There was a Somalian origin kid bigger than everyone, more skilful , stronger faster, etc. I doubted if he was born in England which has given him undue advantage. He seemed more like a 11/12 year old, Somalians are able to gain refugee status quite easily and to ensure all children are dependents age cutting will be done.

Age is intrinsically linked to value and potential Ryan Ssegnon Fulham fc U16 left back. I have mentioned him before. Is being watched by a lot of clubs they are talking way in excess of £15 million. He is not an age cheat but you can see the business model.

There is a teenager in a championship club who is of West African (Not Nigerian) descent has played quite a few games, he came into the UK as a 13 year old when he was actually closer to 16. Played local football obviously destroyed the entire local opposition. He is now playing first team at 18 transfer fee is in the range if £8 million.

I don't have to tell you how one could easily with long term planning using this business model. Make a HUGE PILE of £££ by bringing in exceptional talented very young footballers cut just two years and they are on TOP destroying the opposition. And if you are impatient quite often £1.5 million has been paid for 14 year olds with exceptional talent.

People will kill and commit cold blooded murder for less. Talk less of the little matter of taking off a year or two off your age . I say where there is a will there is a way.

I want to make a list of players fighting for a position/role in the National team. Starting from the attackers to the goalkeepers. I want us to arrange them according to on your own rating. grin

I will start from the Left Wing.

LEFT WING

Victor Moses - Chelsea; Arguably, the best player for this position. With his tricks, he can unlock any defense in the world. In short, he is the most skilful player in the National team. He is the number one on my list. He can also play as a RM. grin- Now, who can deputize for him in case of the unexpected?

Now, let us choose between Moses Simon and Ademola-lookman though we have other players contending for this position. grin

Moses Simon - Gent; I don't really know what is happening to him recently but I think he is my second choice for now pending the guy behind him surpasses him. And who is that guy? cheesy

Ademola-lookman - Everton; This is the new kid on the block making rave in the Premier League. This guy could go places at the rate which he has risen from nowhere to becoming a full team player of Everton within three years. He's a good dribbler, he is skilful, he can score goals and he can give an accurate long pass. I rate him highly than Moses Simon. grin

We also have Sheyi Ojo who plays for Liverpool.

RIGHT WING

Ahmed Musa - Lec city; He is not my preferred choice but he's of course the number one on my list based on experience and other factors. I think he is best used as a Left Winger or striker.

Who do you think is best to stand for him incase...? grin

I think....

Isaac Success of Watford is the answer and my preferred choice. He's a reminiscent of Victor Moses. He is very skillful and direct but he has lost his goal sense based on what I saw. Imagine, Victor Moses on the Left Wing with Success on the right wing, grin any team go fear fear na. grin

The next person is Sone Aluko of Fulham. I think he is most skilful player not in the National team. He can play as a second striker and as an attacking midfielder. grin

Imoh Ezekiel could have been on the list but where em dey get as em be. grin

We have Noel Joel Sarenren Bazee also contending for this position. grin

Center Forward

This one I know know who I go put as number one for this position before some people chew me raw. Seriously, we need a potent striker in the mould of Diego Costa of Chelsea. grin

I don't want to think about Odion Ighalo because of em Chinko move. grin

Therefore, I will go for

Aaron Samuel - CSK Moscow. grin It is my choice. grin You can choose yours. grin I want this guy because of the match against Cameroun. He is strong, fast and reliable. When he played under Keshi, he didn't disappoint. Did he? grin

Brown Ideye- Olympiako; Hate or love him, he is currently the Nigerian with highest goals in Europe. His experience is needed.

Tammy Abraham - Chelsea(on loan); Abraham is currently scoring goals for fun in the Championship. I think he deserves a call-up to the National team.

Sadiq Umar - Bologna-fc; I saw him played yesterday and I think he's good enough.

Kayode Olanrewaju ; We know he has been consistently banging in goals in Europe for three good seasons. Now, I don't think that is fluke. He needs to be rewarded with a call.

Fernando Adi ; Last season was a memorable season for him in the MLS where he banged in goals constantly/consistently in almost every matches he played. I think Rohr needs to look his way.

Dominic Solanke - Chelsea; Don't underestimate any Chelsea bench warmer because when they are allowed to move to other clubs, they outshine whosoever they meet there. cheesy grin

I will continue with the attacking midfielders/second striker my number one choice is, hmmmmm, Alex Iwobi.

ATTACKING MIDFIELDER/ SECOND STRIKER

Alex Iwobi - Arsenal-fc; I think he is the only number ten we have in a top club in Europe. He can hold unto ball, he can give a through pass and he can also dribble very well. He is my favorite.

Kelechi Iheanacho - Man City; From my observations of this lad, he is best utilized behind the striker and that position is what actually shot him into limelight. This will afford him the opportunity to play freely without any restrictions of staying at a point. I promise you, Kelechi must score or at worse provide assist in this role. He is my second choice.

Oghenekaro-etebo - CD Feirense; Even though, he can play different roles, I think he is best utilized as a second striker. Etebor can play as a box to box midfielder if we want him to play alongside Iwobi or Nacho.

Abdul Ajagun - Roda; grin Hehehehe! At the mention of his name alone, every knee must bow. Eze-okwu. grin This lad is naturally an attacking midfielder who needs to be given a chance to prove himself. grin Anyway, he is on my list.

Josh Onomah- Tottenham; I have not taken my time to see his game but he's also a natural attacking midfielder and I think he deserves to be given a trial. After all, he is playing for one of the best clubs in EPL. grin

Rabiu Ibrahim- Gent; I don't really know what is happening to this lad but I am optimistic he will make it at Gent.

Is there anyone I am missing? You can add yours.

CENTRAL MIDFIELDER

Mikel Obi- Chinko club; grin Arguably, he is the most experienced and most influential player on the list. We don't need too much stories though his Chinko move get k leg but I will give him a benefit of doubt.... until after I see him play. For now, he is my first choice.

Ogenyi-onazi - Trapazone; Without any doubt, he is the most experienced player after Mikel in the National team. Onazi can double as a CMF and Defensive midfielder. If he is not playing as a CMF then he must play as the defensive Midfielder.

Raheem Lawal - Kayserispor; I don't understand why this guy is not in the National team despite his stellar performance in the friendly. So far, he has been underatted by many without knowing he was the best player of the U23 Africa Olympics qualifiers tournament. This guy plays like Yaya Toure and *scratching head* em Jordan Ibe team mate. grin

John Ogu; He is having the best season of his career. Although, he was noticed and given a call but he wasn't given the chance to prove himself.

DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDER

Wilfred Ndidi - Leicester; This is the new kid on the block. He is currently doing himself good in the EPL. However, he is my first choice if Onazi plays beside him as another DMF else he will have to understudy Onazi in this role.

Mikel Agu- Victoria Setubal; This lad is making waves in the Portuguese Liga. A run of MOTM game after game should be enough to convince his doubters that he is ready for the National team. He's my preferred choice behind Ndidi.

Anderson Esiti - Gent; This lad is playing regularly for his Belgium club and he is doing well in this position. He deserves to be looked into.

Sanusi Ryan - Sparta Rotterdam; Many have not heard about this lad but I can tell you, he was part of the team that brought back Rotterdam to the Eredivisie. He scored goals from his position which made him to known as the DMF with high numbers of goals.

CENTER BACKS

Leon Balogun- Mainz; Balogun before injury was apparently the best defender on Mainz team. No wonder they conceded lots of goals in his absence. Besides, when he plays for the National team he is the one that Marshalls the defense. You can see that leadership trait in him.

William Troost Ekong - Gent; With Ekong patterning Balogun, I think we're gradually forming a solid, resilience and trustable back line.

Kenneth Otigba - I still don't understand why this guy is not in the team. Probably, he's got no godfather or the previous and the current coaches don't like him. That, I can't tell. Obviously, it is long overdue for this lad to be given a chance to prove himself. He is my favorite to deputize for either of these two players earlier mentioned.

Kenneth Omeruo- Alanyapor; His introduction into the team brought to an end the era of Captain Joseph Yobo. Then, we thought he is the one to take the mantle from Yobo and that he has come to stay but somehow he fizzled out of the team through his loss of concentration and lackadaisical performance. He has now been relegated to the bench. Recently, his club plays him as a defensive midfielder.

Tiago Ilori- Leeds City; Apparently, he is one of the most experienced defenders on my list due to the fact that he has played at highest level with top clubs and in top leagues in Europe. He started out with Sporting Lisbon and later moved to Granada, Bordeaux, Aston Villa, Liverpool and currently he is with Leeds City. The club is currently in the position to get promotion to the Premier League.

Chidozie Awaziem- Porto; Last season was a memorable one for him after he broke into the first team but this season he barely or never made the bench. He is currently playing for the reserve though he was recently restored to the UCL team. I think he deserves a call-up.

Tosin Adarabioyo - Man City; He could only make the bench once this season. We don't know if he would turn out to play for Nigeria. I hope we reach out to him before drawing any conclusion.

Felix Uduokhai - 1860 Munich; Felix is a central defender with 1860 Munich in the second Bundusliga and he is playing regularly. The Germans are not willing to let him slip out of their hands and they will fight hard to make sure they cap him ahead of Nigeria because they have seen the potentials in him and they hold him in high esteem. No wonder Rohr eagles eyes are on him and he wants him badly in his team.

Right Back

Moses Odubanjo - Hull City; This lad could have gone to the Olympics and he could also have been capped by the Nigerian national team but injury prevented him. Hopefully, he comes out of injury on time to help his relegated threatened club to remain in the Premier League and also help solve the RB palaba in the National team. He is my first choice.

Brain Idowu - Ampar Perm; While we are praying and hoping for Moses Odubanjo quick recovery, I think he should be tried on this wing to ascertain his ability. I want it so because we will be facing the physically strong Cameroonians in the World cup qualifiers. We need someone who is as physical as them else this position could become our weakling for them to cause us damages.

Tyronne Ebuechi - Ado Den; If you are looking for a modern day RB, you don't need to look too far cause you can find all that in Ebuechi. We need to add him to our arsenal to add quality to our squad. Thank God he has agreed to play for the green and white Jersey instead the Orange.

Ola Aina - Chelsea; I was not really impressed when I saw him played but I think he is good enough for Chelsea to have brought him to the first team.

We still have Musa Mohammed, Nura Abdullahi (Roma) etc

LEFT BACK

Elderson Echiejile- Sporting Gijon; Presently the most experienced defender in the team. We all know about him

Jordan Torunarigha- Hertha BSC; Though he is a central defender but he can as well play at the left back due to his preferred left foot. grin He is currently in a Bundusliga team that is 5th on the league's table and yet he is still making the matchday team. Recently,, he made his debut coming on as a late substitute. He's just 19. grin

Joel Obi - Torino; I remember now when this guy first played for the National team under Siasia, he was a delight to watch with his mesmerizing skills. Oh my goodness! This guy was uzzing with confidence and skills but injury.. injury held him back both at his club and the National team. I heard he played two days ago and even assisted for the first goal but unfortunately he got injured again. Though, he is Left Midfielder or defensive midfielder, I think we should try him at the LB. And should incase we want to change formation during the course of a match to 3-5-3, he could play as a wing back alongside Victor Moses. grin

Stanley Amuzie - Samdoria; Although, he only made the bench once but he no easy for one to be on a Seria A team. I think we still need to see him to know the level of his progress.

Madu - Gent; We just need to let him develop himself in the Belgium pro league.

Peter Olayinka reveals Albania national team offer, injury woes

Peter Olayinka (left)

Dukla Prague striker Peter Olayinka has blamed injury problems for his lack of action at Belgian club Gent and so his loan move to the Czech Republic.

The 21-year-old Ibadan-born lanky striker also gave reasons why he couldn't play for Albania after he was contacted.

He also talked about his ambition to play for Nigeria after he missed the last U23 team due to injury.

The full interview:

QUESTION: What can you say about the level of football in the Czech Republic compared to Albania and Cyprus where you played previously?

OLAYINKA: The level in Czech is much better than Albania and Cyprus league. It is higher than both leagues. The quality of players in the league here in Czechs is much better than in Cyprus and Albania.

What do you hope to achieve with Dukla Prague?

I am trying to keep the club in the top-flight league because we are in a delicate situation. And I think keeping them in the league is the top priority, which I can help the team achieve.

When was the most difficult period of your career?

That was at Gent. I got injured on the last day in preparation camp for the season 2016/2017 and I was out for three good months.

It was very difficult for me to come back. So, I was out of the season without playing for them and that brought about me coming here (to Dukla Prague) on loan.

Who encouraged you most to take football serious from the onset?

My coach back then, John Takpe, at Besiktas Academy in Ibadan. He was my motivator and Guardian.

Did you get your parents’ support to play football?

At the initial stage, they were against my choice to play football and didn't support me, but later on they gave me their full support.

You were called to the U23 national team, but couldn't honour the invitation because of injury, how do you feel about this?

Firstly, I thank coach Samson Siasia for inviting me. I felt so bad because I have waited so long for that kind of opportunity but unfortunately I couldn't make it due to injury. I am still eligible to play for next U23 and will be glad to get another chance to play for Nigeria.

How many goals do you wish to score this season?

At least 10 goals.

What is your dream car?

2017 BMW X6 and Mercedes-Benz AMG Coupe are my choice cars.

You were contacted by Albania to play for their national team, why did you turn them down?

It was turned down by the football federation President, not me. The national team football committee called me to play for Albania national team, but the president said no for reasons known to him.

Would you have played for them if he didn't turn it down?

Probably yes, because I got no call from the NFF.

When is your career’s best moment?

I have no best moment yet, still on the line waiting for those best moments.

Where is the best stadium you have played before?

Locomotiv Moscow Arena in Russia. It is an amazing football arena.

forgiveness:

I want to make a list of players fighting for a position, from the goalkeeper to the striker in the National team. I want us to arrange them based on your own rating.

This guy could go places at the rate he has risen from nowhere to becoming a full team player within three years.

I think he is most skilful not in the National team.

Seriously, we need a potent striker in the mould of Diago Costa of Chelsea. grin

I don't want to think about Odion Ighalo because of em Chinko move. grin

Therefore, I will go for

Aaron Samuel - CSK Moscow. grin It is my choice. grin You can choose yours. grin I want this guy because the match against Cameroun. He is strong, fast and reliable. When he played under Keshi, he didn't disappoint. Did he? grin

Brown Ideye- Olympiako; Hate or love him, he is currently the highest goal scorer in Europe. His experience is needed.

Tammy Abraham - Chelsea(on loan); Abraham is currently scoring goals for fun the Championship. I think he deserves a call-up to the National team.

Sadiq Umar - Bologna-fc; I saw him played yesterday and I think he's good enough.

Kayode Olanrewaju ; We know he has been consistently banging in goals in Europe for the period of three seasons. Now, I don't think that is fluke. He needs to be rewarded with a call.

Fernando Adi ; Last season was a memorable season for him in the MLS where he banged in goals constantly/consistently in almost every matches he played. I think needs to look his way.

Dominic Solanke - Chelsea; Don't underestimate any Chelsea bench warmer because when they are allowed to move to other clubs, they outshine whosoever they meet there. cheesy grin

I will start with the attacking midfielders/second striker my number one choice is, hmmmmm, Alex Iwobi.

This will afford him the opportunity to play freely on field without the restrictions of being stagnant in one position. I promise you, Kelechi must score or at worst provide assist in this role.

Josh Onomah- Tottenham; I have not taken time to see his game but he's also a natural attacking midfielder and I think he deserves to be given a trail. After all, he is playing for one of the best clubs in EPL. grin

Rabiu Ibrahim- Gent; I don't really know what his happening to this lad but I am optimistic he will make it at Gent.

Is there anyone I am missing? You can add yours.

CENTRAL MIDFIELDER

Mikel Obi- Chinko club; grin Arguably, he is the most experienced and most influential player on the list. We don't need too much stories though his Chinko move get k leg but I will give him benefit of doubt.... until I see him play.

Although, he was noticed and given a call but but he wasn't given the chance to prove himself.

A run of MOT game after game should be enough to convince his doubters, he is ready for the National team.

No wonder they conceded lots of goals his absence.

Probably, he's got no godfather or the previous and the current coach doesn't like him. I can't tell. Obviously, it is long overdue for this lad to be given a chance to prove himself. He is my favorite to deputize for either of these two players earlier mentioned.

Kenneth Omeruo- Alanyapor; His introduction into the team brought to an end the era of Captain Joseph Yobo. Then, we thought he is one to take the mantle from Yobo and that he has come to stay but somehow he fizzled out of the team through his lost of concentration and lackadaisical performance. He has now been relegated to the bench. Recently, his club plays him as .

Tiago Ilori- Leeds City; Apparently, he is one of the most experienced defenders on my list due to the fact that he has played at highest level with top clubs and top leagues in Europe.

Tosin Adarabioyo - Man City; He could only made the bench once this season.

Right Back

Moses Odubanjo - Hull City; This lad could have gone to the Olympics and he could also been capped by the Nigerian national team but injury prevented him. Hopefully, he comes out of injury on time to help his relegated threatened club to remain in the Premier League and also help solve the RB palaba. He is my first choice.

Brain Idowu - Ampar Perm; While we are praying and hoping Moses Odubanjo quick recovery, I think he should be tried on this wing to ascertain his ability. I want it so because we will be facing the physically strong Cameroonian in the World cup qualifiers.

Thank God he has agreed to turn out for the green and white Jersey instead the Orange.

We all about him

Jordan Torunarigha- Hertha BSC; Though he is a central defender but he can as well play at the left back due to his preferred left foot. grin He is currently in a Bundusliga team that is on the top 5 on the league table and yet he is still making the matchday team.

I heard he played two days ago and even assisted the first goal but unfortunately he got injured again.

Cool! What a nice one smiley but the list ought to have base on players that have played and want to play for Nigeria.

I have watched Ademola Lookman like three times nw, the boy is a very good player, very skillful, pacy and have an eye for goal. But it seems his heart is with the Lion, Nobi here at all. We should just leave that side and enjoy him being another Nigerian descent playing at the top smiley .

Felix Uduokhai: What a very good player, I watched couple of his game on youtube. Germany will not allow us to take this boy, and he even chooses Germany over Nigeria. Dube will relegate Ekong to the bench.

Good List.

I don't think Ademola-lookman and Felix Uduokhai have/will reject Nigeria if approached with seriousness. Until he says 'I will not play for Nigeria' let us still be optimistic about it.

So, you have seen Felix Uduokhai played. grin That's great.

Thank you so much. I'm glad to see analytical people here. This is the reason why I said earlier our true golden age of football is coming.. watch out guys.. the class of 2013/2015 U17.. including those who barely failed the MRI scan. I believe Ndidi is one of them as well as the like of the Iwobis, and other young players springing out from nowhere.

tglobal:

I see the same thing happening in 3rd world countries too, since there is increasing access to records through social media and other websites

you should have made your post concise.. it's hard to really keep track of your points. I will take it one by one based on where i read so far.

Firstly, Moses can operate from the LW, RW, LM and RM. that gives room for easy rearrangement formation-wise. I will rather give him the role he plays in Chelsea. that opens room for other players who are good enough to start.

Secondly, Success Isaac can operate anywhere in the forward position. I will play him 9, the role he played in the U17, specifically because there is lack of competition there and he can match any physical defender on the opposing side.

That leaves the wing positions open to Ademola Lookman (RW), Henry Onyekuru(LW), Ahmed Musa(RW) and Moses Simon(LW).

Support Striker (NO.cool is open to Kelechi Iheanacho, Aluko and Brown Ideye. My pick is Iheanacho and Aluko. the latter has done wonderfully when playing for Nigeira. Take note that he is left footed.

No.10 will Alex Iwobi. I think he is still developing. Going by his regular appearance for a top team like Arsenal, he can definitely start for SE -- depending on the style of our opponents of course. I know some will rather play Mikel in this role. That's also fine by me. in that case I will move Iwobi to one of the wings, and drop one of the four afforementioned players -- Onyekuru, just because he is not going anywhere, unlike Lookman that could be snatched by England anytime.

Left Midfield: Joel Obi, John Ogu

In defensive midfield we have lots of choices: Ndidi, Agu, Onazi, Agbo, Esiti, Igiebor,... I will settle with Ndidi and Agu to shake things up.

Defense: no comments.. lol

GK: Ikeme, Alampasu, Nwokolor

This guy could go places at the rate he has risen from nowhere to becoming a full team player within three years.

I think he is most skilful not in the National team.

This will afford him the opportunity to play freely on field without the restrictions of being stagnant in one position. I promise you, Kelechi must score or at worst provide assist in this role.

Although, he was noticed and given a call but but he wasn't given the chance to prove himself.

A run of MOT game after game should be enough to convince his doubters, he is ready for the National team.

No wonder they conceded lots of goals his absence.

Tosin Adarabioyo - Man City; He could only made the bench once this season.

Thank God he has agreed to turn out for the green and white Jersey instead the Orange.

We all about him

Jordan Torunarigha- Hertha BSC; Though he is a central defender but he can as well play at the left back due to his preferred left foot. grin He is currently in a Bundusliga team that is on the top 5 on the league table and yet he is still making the matchday team.

I heard he played two days ago and even assisted the first goal but unfortunately he got injured again.

Ronaldinho believes Gabriel Jesus is the player that will replace Messi as world's best
Author: Ibitoye Shittu

Barcelona legend Ronaldinho has stated that fellow country man Gabriel Jesus has the potentials to replace Lionel Messi as the world's best footballer.

Barcelona legend Ronaldinho

But Ronaldinho who was known for his superb dribbling styles during his playing days must be reminded that Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is the current world's best player.

Gabriel Jesus has rightly won plenty of plaudits since taking the Premier League by storm this season scoring three goals in three League games and Ronaldinho has become the latest man to sing his praises.

Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus''

Jesus can be the best in the future, and I want to support him to achieve that to happen in his career.

''At the moment it is Messi. I have always said I think one day it will be Neymar.
''But at 19, in the future, it can be Gabriel. He has all the abilities to make that happen, ''He explained Jesus and his City team-mates face Bournemouth on Monday, February, 13, 2017 in the League and a win will make them maintain the pressure on Premier League leaders Chelsea.

We really need Moses Odubajo to get healed ASAP. Right now, he's the only person who can solve our RB woes. Let's hope and pray that he would be fit by time we play the March friendly.

Victor Moses should play rightback, there would be no better choice.

Nah, not for the Super Eagles. First of all, we don't play 3-4-3. Secondly, playing for the Super Eagles, I don't think that VicMo would maintain the same discipline as he does when playing for Chelsea. And that would spell a disaster for us. And in addition, we don't have anyone to play the LWB in the current SE set up.

Tammy Abraham is a good striker even though he scores a lot of scrappy goals. It is a talent to be at the right place all the time. I will like to see him at a higher level before any call-up.

What other level do u expect him to be, he is a chelsea academy graduate playing in the championship. And speaking of scrappy goal, i prefer playing a striker that scores 20 scrappy goals than one that hasn't score in a goal in months. i

We have seen strikers that scored many goals in the championship go barren in the Premier League. Example, David Nugent... We will know his true quality when the standard improves but so far, so good.

Good list. However, forget about Solanke, Tosin and MOST DEFINITELY Illori. These 3 are not interested in playing for naija. The likes of Aina, Tammy are 50/50 - 30/70....slight chance of us convincing them to play for us. I've heard good things about this Felix guy...my cousin in Germany says dude is talented and Germany will fight for him. This is where Rohr needs to do his thing.
