He's married and the lady is married, but they dated way back. Is it right to go into a business deal together?

That'll be like smelling what you can't or shouldn't eat. It will only cause temptation and frustration. Besides, the good book says we should flee all APPEARANCE of evil.

You both don't need to do business together before you both ruin your marriages. The fact that you both could contemplate doing business together shows you've gone farrr in your discussions.

Whether you do business or not, your marriages are at risk as far as you maintain communication. Whatever you've been discussing that led to the idea of doing business is enough to ruin you both.

Sis. You're playing with fire. (Proverbs 14:1)

OK, but the Bible verse doesn't really answer the question.

It answers it if only you understand. I was only talking to you in parables and building on what others have said. I'm saying you will pull down your own home if you go ahead with the business deal with your EX...but if you do not go ahead, then you are a wise woman who desires to see her home last. Peace!

What if the feeling has died completely. Moreover, we won't be seeing each other everyday. It's a digital world. WhatsApp and mobile banking is there. Just asking.

Ma'am, what is that saying again: Old flames die hard. One thing I learnt in life which God taught me the hard way is this: Do not play with darkness no matter how small or little it seems. When you are in; I tell you, it will be difficult to get out. Like play like play na so e dey start. If the house mouse know say na just a little bite go make him end for trap's end, it won't do it. I take God beg you, don't even think of it at all except you have decided in your mind to do your own thing against God's advice. Don't let the spirit of "it doesn't matter" cause commotion for your marriage...ebanking or not.

why come to nairaland? go and get permission from your spouse. also make sure you say all details of the relationship including feeling level, if you would have married her/him and lastly why you broke up. if the spouse agrees make sure you meet your exes spouse and get approval too including stating all I said above.. if the spouse agrees then you can go into business.

You've made up ur mind already, u r just looking for people to support u if not I see no reason u should even consider this.

For you to come to this level means u guys have been having frequent communication on regular basis, that alone can put fire in your home.

If u think your conscience is clear and this biz won't affect ur home, like someone suggests why don't you tell ur husband in details about your past with guy, your present n your future plans with the guy, also ur spouse n u should meet with the guy n his wife, then check out the reaction of ur spouses, that alone will make u understand what you are doing.

Anyways whatever you decide I believe you are matured enough to take responsibilities for ur action. I wish you all the best.

Look for somewhere else and express your frustration. You mustn't comment. I don't know you and you don't know me. What's the insult for?? And what makes you think I'm going into any business venture with an ex.

I'll give you the monopoly of insults, otherwise, I would have insulted you 20 times more. But just continue. Two cannot be mad at the same time.

All you said are insinuations. I just asked a harmless question.
