Trying a locally made CDK Eko bathroom set in the garage apartment.

Totally hides the crappy shyte tube, of which I hate to see.

(Trying to post pic but Glo has been generally a bastage network).

Good job. Looking real good. Attention to details. However don't forget to egde the the floor corners with adesive or caulk? Possibly with white cement. Well done.

sir

razor wire prefered to electric fence?
I support that too, electric fence has one point to disable it, however razor wire has multiple points.

i might use my dad's security strategy we used to call "danger". It is a single light bulb and wired. No visitor or family after 8pm. gate locked. That thing was effective. It kills lots of big snakes that tired to scaled through the fence. Almost kill a boy that touched our fence at 9AM bcus we woke up late to run it off. But things are difference now. My dad used the danger after his meter was stolen when he completed his house in 1989

Electric Fence?

That is a common thing nowadays!

What if they dont scale the fence (where you have 'danger') but just bulldoze a hole through the non-conducting part of the fence?
What if they first disconnect your Power Source (or do you use it on an Inverter/Solar Array?

You cant really prevent a robbers from coming to your house, if they are really determined to come.
But you can determine what happens to them, when they come and before they leave..... if they can leave.

Too many variables come into play such that there is no 'one-cap-fits-all' rule/method.

Is the Wash hand basin really that close to the W.C, in the apartment?
Is there a possibility that one's head might hit the edge of the Wash hand Basin. when trying to stand-up from WC, after completing the 'private business'?

Maybe its the Camera angle that makes them appear real close, maybe not so in real terms.
Just wondering.

Well, that was 1980s through early 90s we maintained thar measure. We had to get rid of it as more people settling in the hood. And back then, no sophisticated thieves i know of. TIME determine security measures. "Danger" we had back then was effective. They never came back bcus our house was a known famous "danger house". That alone scared the hell of even "determined" armed robbers

Wall tiles 9/10

Toilet system 10/10

Wash Hand Basin 7/10

Floor Tiles: Repeat the class

I couldn't grade the vanity because of no clear view.

The second pic is the warehouse display.

The actual restroom is about 10 feet deep so no issues at all with clearance.

Waiting for my tiler to cleanup the tile work on the floor and we'll need to break some wall tiles to get some clearance.

I'm just floored that this is made in Nigeria.

Very nice choice. You know the next; price?
Nice tiles too.

N70k for the set including drain and faucet.

An unarguably splurge.

Using these doors also. The only whites that I found. I cannot stand the browns as they makes the house darker.

N30,000 a piece versus N23,000 for brown ones.

I am so happy to see this also, I like to believe we can match china quality if Govt provided the infrastructure and enabling environment to do so. The market is huge.

No to screeding.

O ti oo..O ti ooo!! Aburo! you mean after all this noise you have been making about Lowes and Home depot..... You are finally buying and fitting all these our nonsense products in the Nigerian market ?? even locally made ones??
I am ashamed for y0u egunmogaji.

I see you even used the archaic, and wasteful Nigerian method of erecting walls and then breaking them over again to embed conduit pipes.I remember a heated argument with one of the builders here about better alternatives ....I remember you posting pictures of ridiculous plumbing, electrical and all what not which you boasted about implementing in your "BUILD" . But ALAS!!.....LOL, ALAS!!

One would think that after rubbishing our own, you would come up with something better.
One would think that after the shameful criticism of Nigerian building methods and materials...that you would atleast show us some American wonder...... shocked shocked , but No . cry cry
Or wait , let me guess. .... are the american wonders saved for the main house.

Those who really have the money to do Menards, lowes, home depot etc and ship have neither the time nor the energy to gloat about it.

The internet never forgets my man...and it never forgives. All these people might pretend like they dont remember.... grin, So Kwantinuu!

I might drop by your city someday so we can play with our mini mokes... grin

The first specimen is N18,000 and the second is N5,000

The first one has tactile clicks that makes my knees weak.

Thanks Egun. The first time I had hint about locally made products was from my tiller. He said must of the tiles we used in Nigeria are locally made, packed them as imported. I was looking through this company product catalog couldn't believe their tiles are locally made. We need more of these locally made products webs links here.

These stuff look great. All we ask for from Nigerian government is 24 hours electricity supply and everything to fall into places after that.
