UBC aspirants (Earlier today I made the below quoted post) For everyone waiting on UBC I want to inform you that some (if not all) of their programs have also extended their deadlines, but it's not updated on the departmental website yet. You can verify through the following link if your program is affected: https://www.grad.ubc.ca/prospective-students/application-admission/application-deadlines for example, the deadline for Comuter science has been shifted from December 15 2016 to February 19 2017 I want to upload a screenshot of their notice but I'm not certain how to upload images here. Here is the quote from the UBC website: In light of recent events, many programs are willing to extend their application deadlines. Please inquire with individual programs if late applications will be accepted. I'm not certain yet what are the "recent events", but you can see my speculation on my previous post. Megziflips: |

M.eng Information security at Concordia University applicants, i have some questions, how did you handle the references request for the application, and also is Ielts compulsory, i saw on their website Nigeria is exempted from englis proficiency. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by CarpricornPratt: 10:16pm On Feb 13, 2017 |
wealth360: it does not mean the application has not been touched..Infact most times, it remains that way till a decision is made on the application. If you have done biometrics, do not worry, they will access it when they need from their computers without it reflecting on your page.. |

osento: You have to share your profile first, ur proposed course of study, previous education/employment history and all necessary things that may help people figure out something about ur refusal reasons. |

I want to apply for a diploma course in Mohawk College, please is it advisable for me to state it my personal statement that I have a degree or should I just ignore it. I already had a degree in transport technology and would like to apply for diploma in aviation technician. Please advise |

sheddybaba1: Hello. I think I have an idea of why u were refused the second time despite perfect course and related work experience. The major issue with your application is still insufficient fund. Try and pay a little of your fees to show commitment and express yourself well in your SOP. Once you are denied of insuffifient funds, it is advisable to pay little of your fees in your next application. NB: This is my own opinion which is based on a similar case I know about. Please disregard if you find better advise. 1 Like |

You may be lucky to get admission, but visa will be extremely difficult (not ruling out GOD's possibility). To start with, undergraduate will be a red flag considering your age, work experience and previous academic background. What will be your reason(s) to the V.O of just thinking of an undergraduate course after married with two kids? How do you intend to survive including your dependants when you're self-sponsor (I assume, since you're a family man unless you have a co-sponsor)? 2.is it wise to apply to a community college,,i have Nscc and. Memorial uni in mind. To give a candid advice, I will suggest you look up another country that is not as strict as Canada when it comes to student visa. Thanks. |
