I have resided on the Redemption camp since 2003.

I simply walked into the Code of Conduct Office at the Redemption camp yesterday 23rd February 2017 to submit registration forms which was mandated for all residents.
The officer in charge collected them after waiting for him to respond for about 10minutes because he was busy pressing his phone. He then said he won't accept the forms unless he saw every member of my family in person.

I simply tried to explain to him that they had been there and he asked them to fill some portions of the forms. He insisted he would not collect the forms.

I asked him to return the forms so I could leave since he won't accept the forms and I was also in a hurry to go somewhere else.

He simply asked me if he looked like a small boy out of anger and I told him that I never said he is a small boy.
I told him I had waited hours just to buy the forms about a week before and I wasn't willing to wait that long again.

The man, a staff of the Code of conduct at Redemption camp, gave me two slaps, raked me to the ground and began kicking me while another of the code of conduct staff stood and watched.
A lady who I guess should be their staff was trying to intervene and calm him down, he mistakenly hit her too and she had to leave the scene.

A man later came out from within the office who I guess must be their boss and asked what had happened. The staff couldn't even explain his actions.

He simply told the man who beat me to apologize because that was not their mode of operation.

As a bonafide Rccg member; I knew I couldn't forget my membership and look for thugs/policemen to arrest him for assaulting me. So I put a call through to my parents who are Rccg pastors and they expressed their displeasure.

Despite, complaining bitterly about retaining such an agressive staff and the injury I had sustained from being beaten like a criminal, the Code of conduct are yet to talk about treatment of my wounds and not even what justice needs to be done.

If you joined secondary school since 2003, that should make you be at least a 25yr old man by now. In all honesty you should be ashamed to use the terms "brutally beaten" (even though I can't even see the signs in your pics )

Thanks for your observations. Would you like someone to inflict injuries on you? For example, you go to the bank and the customer care gives you injuries because he/she feels insulted by you.
If I had an accident; I would thank God for sparing my life but getting injured for absolutely no reason is not acceptable.

How old are u? What were u doing while he was beating u? Were your hands tied? You lazy, pampered boy!

I am saying that as a fully grown up able-bodied man I can't foresee any situation in which I would be "brutally beaten" by a single person, especially a non military personnel, because I would fight back and defend myself. Such that even if I did lose the fight, it would not be a "brutal beating," but a fairly balanced fight.
And second, if as a man those are what you call injuries, then you clearly need to toughen up.

Thank you all for your contributions. The truth of the matter is this. Wisdom is profitable to direct. If I had engaged the man in any way his colleagues would have something against me. They would then claim I came into the office to fight their staff and I would have no case. You the female you are having mouth; I have just mentioned "Code of conduct" which means one way or the other they have "at least" paramilitary roles. How do you intend to walk into the midst of people, fight their staff and beat them all. Please come in one day and maybe you will be lucky to see them beating grown ups. For your info, they work with the Nigerian police. Some of them are police officers. Well; I agree I need to toughen up. We are in Nigeria where people like you commenting have adapted to abnormal things. Soon, you'll be assaulted too and you will show your super woman skills.
There are countless people with similar experiences. As far as I am concerned, the Holy ground is becoming a hell.

I am sorry if I touched a sensitive nerve there, but I see you've got my message.
FYI, I am a man, and one who believes in fighting not just for myself, but also for others. I do not mind losing the battle in order to win the war.
I strongly believe that if I make it difficult for my fellow man to slap me around, then they'd think twice before doing it to others subsequently. In a way though, this could be what you are doing also by trying to go through a very distorted legal system, but whatever works for you.
