Hello everyone. I salute u all. For 2 months plus, i have been a silent reader and a constant visitor of this thread. For MUN applicants, in few days time, reply should come for those that had thier admission closed 15th of Feb or before. I also applied to MUN for Fall admission to History dept for a masters program, discussing with my potential supervisor when i asked him of the possibility of being admitted, he said "when your file gets to me i will make a convincing case for you, but note that the final decision still recets with d grad committee". Have been thinking of what exactly he is trying to pass accross (help is needed). Also, i have read posts on d visa application. I must say a big congratulations to those that had gotten n to everyone that has not gotten in advance. I want to ask, while applying for a trv and when asked if a visa has been rejected before can a yes be given? cos i applied for a visa lottery (a provincial on though) to canada through Jonathan king in 2013 and i was not qualified. Can i say that have been rejected a visa before because i am in a dilemma. Thanks in anticipation. |

Idowu3080: In MUN graduate application as in other schools they are various stages. What he means is that when your file comes to the department he would recommend you to the department who would either accept or reject his recommendation and in turn (if they accept) further recommend you to sgs which has the final say over graduate decision matters.. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by yemdogg: 7:53am On Feb 28, 2017 |
feguson123: A letter of explanation stating that she's your mum and she remarried after separating with ur dad. Your birth certificate should carry her name as your mum. Present the marriage certificate between your mum and your dad. This would show that indeed she was married to your dad. She can further depose to an affidavit to buttress your position. Documents you need to show relationship with your mum: Your birth certificate, Marriage certificate between your mum and dad, If you can lay your hand on the divorce papers (Order absolute) it would aid your case. Affidavit of sponsorship, herein she would state that she is your mother and she was previously married to your dad. Letter of explanation, Letter of consent from your dad, stating the circumstances which you have mentioned. Means of Identification of your mum e.g International passport data page. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Austinpee4: 10:27am On Feb 28, 2017 |
Stellyhardy:When did you finish undergrad? Do you have any work experience and if you do, in what area? You can choose to mention it in your SOP or not. When CIC reviews your application, they will still use your UCI number to also review previous refusal reasons on their GCMS database. |

Also, how many days does one have to have his biometrics done if one applies online because my fear is that i might be out of lag due to the nature of my work by the time i apply online just to avoid complications. Thanks |

seun7730: I'd advise you get this information from the school by mailing the admissions Coordinator. So that you don't have any issues with the payment. |
