Oasis007: Noah Joel Bazee, good player but Onyekuru is making more waves. |

When Mikel eventually retires, Nigeria's midfield could become Onazi, Ndidi and Etebo. Workaholic kind of midfield. |

Chrismario: The last report on Idowu was that he needed a few months to make the change. So perhaps, his papers are not ready. Sarenren-Bazee is a very good young player but that position is stocked with Moses, Iwobi, Musa, Simon, and other competitors like Onyekuru and Kalu. Perhaps, the coach just wants to tie him down to Nigeria. Komekn talked about a German bias for Rohr so that might have also informed that decision. 1 Like |

None of the China based players were invited. Maybe we can try a different forward line. |

Kog45: the game vs Algeria is a perfect example. Not only the goal we conceded, he also gifted them a few other oppurtunities |

tbaba1234: I think Rohr is simply trying to ease out Ideye and Ighalo from the Eagles Setting! Bazee can also strike, and with the Invitations of Success and Osimhen, it's probably over for both Ideye and Ighalo! |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Oasis007(m): 7:05pm On Mar 01, 2017 |
We've got enough Players who can compete for, and play RB Position very well, I think Shehu Abdullahi should be classed as a Midfielder! |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by tbaba1234: 7:09pm On Mar 01, 2017 |
It appears Rohr does not really fancy Esiti style. He has not been reinvited since the first time. He appears to love the versatility of Shehu Abdullah. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by tbaba1234: 7:13pm On Mar 01, 2017 |
Oasis007: Possible but their non invitation might be to let them settle down in their new clubs. |

I am watching Elderson Chiejele against Barca. He ain't playing badly at all even though his team (Sporting) is already 2 goals down and we've only played 15 mins. Ouch! O pari |

according to whoscored.com stats, at the moment Echiejile is the weakest link in their back line if not for Rodiquez's own goal. He is one of the lowest rated in the pitch. tbaba1234: |

BascoVanVeli: Why do you think Onyekuru would not have excelled at Celtic, breaking scoring records and make a big transfer? I always saw Celtic as a brilliant place for players to market themselves. Can you imagine how much it will cost to price Dembele from Celtic? 1 Like |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Icon79(m): 8:24pm On Mar 01, 2017 |
maidaboi: How can you cap him when he has already clearly stated that he wants to wait for England? I think we should let him keep waiting for England. Let's focus on the players who are interested in playing for us. I only wish that Henry Onyekuru was invited. And I knew that he was in the mix. Anyway, I will check with my sources at the NFF to know what happened. O pari |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by BascoVanVeli(m): 8:30pm On Mar 01, 2017 |
TheGoodJoe: The MLS and PSL are more competitive than Scotland. Belgium is better for him sef. He can break a record as soon as Eupen sells him. Going to celtic in january would have been selfish on his part. 1 million was never his true value he will end up being sold for Isaac Success money and that makes more sense because it will give him respect at his new club. |

Icon79: I think the coach also got turned off by his saga. It just showed he has alot of growing up to do. He is still our player and this will make even more determined. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 8:36pm On Mar 01, 2017 |
BascoVanVeli: I watch Celtic in the Champions League. Why bring up MLS. Two, Celtic players get more coverage than the MLS. Three, Price tag is not the issue here. That would have come playing in a highly attacking set up at Celtic. The Eupen deal would not be the major deal but a move from Celtic. Onyekuru's career is important, risking a relegation instead if joining Celtic does not look ideal to me. At least his Representative sealed an agreement for him to leave. |
