Guy don't argue blindly. Go and fact check don't sit down and make up things to say. Everybody knows Ambrose' issue was never fitness so why even try that?
Another article this time new.

http://www.nigerianews360.com/celtic-fans-left-me-when-i-needed-them-most-hibs-efe-ambrose-opens-up-about-time-at-celtic/

I WOULD BE THE ONE ON THE PITCH THEY CRITICISED, BUT IN GENERAL IT NEVER GOT ME DOWN.IT ALWAYS MOTIVATED ME TO GO BACK AND WORK HARDER. I NEVER REGRET ANYTHING. I ALWAYS ENJOYED MYSELF AT CELTIC... Ambrose.

That is a quote from the article you posted. From that quote, that mistake was not the reason he faded. Ambrose turned to a locomotive player from a high speed sports car after his injury. That was long after the incident you pointed.

He had a good relationship with Rodgers. Like i said check the facts, these things are online im not talking out my backside here. I know wat i'm talking about.

So what did Celtic do to Efe, considering he had quite a few successful seasons at Celtic, your statement is not substantiated. Because it's in the press doesn't necessarily make it true.

REVEALED: HOW POOR ATTITUDE COST CHIKATARA A SPOT IN SUPER EAGLES SQUAD FOR EGYPT GAMES

The poster boy of Nigeria AFCON 2016 team Chisom Chikatara missed out on a spot in Nigeria’s ill fated back to back AFCON 2017 qualifiers game against Egypt due to his poor showing in training.

Chikatara according to a coach of the team who spoke to Owngoalnigeria.com on the condition of anonymity said the 22 year old was feeling like a superstar in training who felt like he needed less to get into the team.

“Chikatara wasn’t pulling his weight during training, limped off too often and generally wasn’t committed, he left us with no chance but to drop him, I am afraid if so early into his career he is beginning to exhibit such” He told Owngoalnigeria.com.

Already he is set to join Morocco’s league leaders Wydad Casablanca when registration reopens in the league in the summer and presently he has three goals for his Nigeria league side Abia Warriors.

what are u talking about I watched celtic fans boo this man for scoring an own goal against barca, a friendly that they lost 4-0. The fans never respected what he did in the past they were all to ready for him to go. The fact that u never heard of any of this show celtic is nowhere to be.

The fans not respecting Ambrose is not the reason he faded. After the incident you talked about, Ambrose went to the World Cup as a key Super Eagles player and played well. His speed was still there by then.

I already posted a link to an article with Siasia giving his reason, why are u hinging to an unproven report. "limped off" suggests that the coaches felt he wasn't playing through pain enough. U don't limp when u are tired. A limp is for when u carry an injury.

We don't get goals from Ighalo and Ideye. He has the POTENTIAL of bringing that. Or what else do you want him to bring?

His numbers aren't better than that of Ideye despite playing in the MLS. So why bring him in? If we're talking about "potential", we should be talking of Osimhen and Issac Success, not a 26 year old Adi. Not saying he is too old, but he just doesn't bring anything new to the table.

Did you not watch matches of Ezekiel, Nwofor and Ujah? How have they ended up?

My take is the young man is doing great at the moment. But let him continue doing great by also moving to a more competitive league and then we re-assess him.

Onyekuru is young and he will surely get his turn of call up in our subsequent games if he continues doing well.

Ezekiel Imoh and Ujah were snubbed by chop chop coaches.

It has nothing to do with their talents.

When they saw Nigerian coaches no like them, they decided to follow money.

Ideye does not replicate his club form (goals) when playing for the Super Eagles. While Ighalo was banging goals for Watford, how many did he score for Nigeria. Some players do better nationally, others do better at their clubs.. yet, others show same class for club and country. How do you get to compare what they can do for the SE when Adi hasn't been giving and equal chance. A player isn't necessarily doomed just because they play for an inferior league. He has the stats that deserves he should also get a chance. It's unfair to write off any player who is at least making a case.. potential doesn't necessarily have to do with age. A player who does not have a single cap doesn't bring anything new to the table? you still haven't answered my question. What do you want him to bring besides goals. And how can he prove that if he is not capped? What do you expect Osihmen to bring? dribbles?

Even if Adi's stats where better, you would say he plays in the MLS.

Ideye's stats:
https://www.whoscored.com/Players/36521/History/Brown-Ideye
+ 13 goals current season

So how did you do your calculation?

He was unplayable in this match. Scored two goals...was brought down for a penalty for another goal. Contrary to what some would have us believe, this guy is good in hold-up play and can build from the back. He was building throughout the match. There is just too much sentiments in Nigerian football. People judge players even without watching them.

It's possible. But don't you think that Azubuike should be in the midst as well? I am surprised that they didn't consider inviting him to these series of friendlies, especially considering that we don't know what the form of Mikel is gonna look like in the next one year.

O pari

Onazi, Ndidi and Shehu Abdulahi are all DMF. Ogu too plays that position.

Azubuike is for now a surplus requirement.

It has nothing to do with their talents.

When they saw Nigerian coaches no like them, they decided to follow money.

Who snubbed who?

The then 18years old Ezekiel that was invited to the Flying Eagles camp in 2011 and then he turned it down. He was not ready for the Super Eagles until prio to 2014 WC when Keshi invited him for a friendly. Yes he was not ready to compete for space with wingers like Victor Moses, Chinedu Ogbuke, Obinna Nsofor, Sonne Aluko and Ahmed Musa.

In 2014 for whatsoever reason he went to the middle-east.

Rio, Siasia gave him another opportunity and also us another opportunity to re-assess his readiness for the Super Eagles.

Anthony Ujah, there was no way he could break into the Super Eagles as at that 2011 when he came to limelight.
He was instead invited to the U23 Camp along with Ighalo, Lukman, Oduamadi, Igiebor, Raheem, Oseni and co. He didn't really do so well.

He was left out to develop and got a couple of invitations during Keshi and Oliseh's reign but he didn't really meet our expectations. He was not the type of striker we were looking for.

So wetin come bring chop-chop for this one.

Before u were shouting nepotism. Now ur slogan is fraud and chop-chop. Lets discuss the football and put aside all unfounded insinuations pls.

I am asking you because I do not get your point again. You are blaming Efe Ambrose fading on criticism after AFCON, despite him playing well after that period. So do you think Efe Ambrose is still as fast as he used to be?

He’s Played In Champions League – Neil Lennon Backs Hibernian Signing of Efe Ambrose
Hibernian boss Neil Lennon has defended Efe Ambrose after signing the 28-year-old on loan from Celtic, reminding his critics that the Nigerian has played in the Champions League and regularly collected trophies.

Ambrose has found life at Celtic tough in recent seasons and was expected to join English Championship side Blackburn Rovers in last month's transfer window.

But Ambrose saw his proposed move to Ewood Park fall apart due to work permit issues and was looking at another six months of kicking his heels at Celtic until Lennon came calling.

The defender has joined on an emergency 93-day loan and Lennon insists he has a top notch player.

"It's almost as if the previous four years has been erased from his football career", Lennon explained to STV.

"This is a guy who's played Champions League against the likes of Barcelona and AC Milan.

"He's won doubles, he's won league championships, he's won the Africa Cup of Nations. The list goes on."

Lennon admits Ambrose has often been guilty of errors, however he insists mistakes are just par for the course for any player, stressing he feels Hibs have done well to bring in the Celtic man.

"Yes, he's had some mistakes but I played with players, Bobo Balde for example, who made a couple of high-profile errors as well.

"Sometimes there's nothing you can do about that. They're human beings at the end of the day.

"For me, he's a very consistent player and I think we've done good business", Lennon added.

Hibernian currently sit top of the Scottish Championship table with a seven-point lead over second placed Dundee United and Lennon will hope Ambrose can help push his team over the line in the promotion chase.

FA tell young African footballers 'play for us' after losing out on Alex Iwobi and Wilfried Zaha
The FA have hatched a plan to pluck the best African players in academy football
England have lost players in the past including Alex Iwobi and Victor Moses
Wilfried Zaha earned two England caps but chose to play for Ivory Coast

By Sami Mokbel for the Daily Mail
The Football Association have hatched a plan to pluck the best African players in academy football to play for England.

England’s top academies are awash with talented players of African origin and FA chiefs want to give themselves the best chance of ensuring those players pursue a career with England.

Players are not fully committed to a nation until they have played a competitive fixture for their country, but the FA will provide kids as young as 13 with a clear international pathway in a bid to prevent them from pursuing a career elsewhere.

Arsenal youngster Alex Iwobi, who moved to England from Nigeria at the age of four, is an example of the scenario the FA want to avoid.

There is a belief within the England set-up that Iwobi, despite being only 20, would be in the senior squad now.

However, despite playing for England at junior level, Iwobi pledged his international future to Nigeria, and already has 8 caps to his name.

Similarly, Chelsea’s Nigerian-born wing back Victor Moses also turned his back on England to play for Nigeria while Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha opted for a career with Ivory Coast despite winning two senior England caps.

The FA are also fearful of losing Everton youngster Ademola Lookman, who was born in Wandsworth and has played for England at junior level, to Nigeria.

The FA are keen to ensure they stop losing African youngsters they believe have what it takes to make the grade at senior international level.

The move has been welcomed by Premier League clubs as it ensures they will not lose players to the Africa Cup of Nations.

It is not just players of African origin that the FA have tried to persuade. West Ham Portuguese youngster Domingos Quina is on the FA’s radar but they have missed out on Dutch youngsters Tahith Chong, who plays for Manchester United, and Juan Castillo, who is at Chelsea. The pair were also targeted but have committed their international futures to Holland.

Watford striker Stefano Okaka on playing with Troy Deeney and Isaac Success' power

By Hertfordshire Mercury | Posted: March 06, 2017
Read more at http://www.hertfordshiremercury.co.uk/watford-striker-stefano-okaka-on-playing-with-troy-deeney-and-isaac-success-power/story-30182447-detail/story.html#rQPzBbB3yJiYsmMr.99

Stefano Okaka is hopeful his partnership with Troy Deeney will be given time to blossom after both strikers found the net in Watford's 4-3 defeat at home to Southampton.

The Hornets have struggled for any consistency in team selection this season, mainly due to injuries, and it was just the fifth time the pair have started a game together.

It's been a profitable partnership for Walter Mazzarri though, the pair have five goals between them in their short time together on the pitch.

Okaka set up Deeney's opener on four minutes against Southampton, before his first time finish pulled Watford level in the second half and the Italian is hopeful it's a sign of things to come.

"Troy and myself have a good relationship and you can see that on the pitch," Okaka said.

"Every time I get the ball I search for him and he searches for me. I set him up for the first goal and he gave a lot of balls to me as well.

"He's a good player and we have to carry on working like this. Hopefully we can finish this season well."

Isaac Success assisted Okaka's equaliser in his latest cameo from the bench with a powerful run and low cross.

Okaka labelled the Nigerian as a 'very good' player and thinks his progress and return to fitness will benefit the Hornets.

"I think Isaac is a very good talent," Okaka explained.

"He can help the team a lot. He has to carry on working hard and I think he gives the team a lot of power."
