ijeaify:Not true. I know someone that got hers recently without them returning the supporting documents. Just the refusal letter and her passport. It could be CIC new style for 2017 or maybe, they don't want applicants to just submit same documents for a reapplication without cross-checking or updating the ones needing updates. #mythoughts. |

[quote author=ijeaify post=54364363]Hello people please I jst received my passport ,but am surprised that other documents I submitted were not returned back to me. I jst asked someone now and he saying that can only be done when the application submits a fake document. Please how true Is this an online application or paper route? Plus what's the status of your application. The VO don't return documents, all supporting documents are retained with them except for your passport. #I stand to be corrected my able TRV Doctors# |

Jejelaye01:change they say is constant.in the past and of recent, all supporting documents for paper route application are returned except IMM1294 form and family information form.the poster may have been my 2nd witness so far on this if this appears to be a new development within a specific period of time between those that submitted within that period. |

Austinpee4: A moniker here @ Mikymiko also had the same issue. He submitted over 50+ documents and CIC didn't return any. |

Genius000:from a clear conversation,I feel it is a product of a specific/any VO that handled the application to act discretionarily |

Genius000: nelly28:Well, I don't want to believe it's anything to be concerned about. Actually, when CIC stopped collecting original documents, they mentioned that the photocopies of supporting documents they would start collecting will automatically become the property of CIC and will NOT be returned. I guess this is what is playing out. So if they choose to return them or not, it's still well within their discretion. Nothing is wrong anywhere. 1 Like |

nelly28: I addressed mine to Accra, Ghana. Study permits stopped being processed in Nigeria since Part 4- 5. But it dosen't really matter. CIC should be indifferent in stuffs like that. You should be fine. |

Johnnyessence:Most Canadian Universities don't accept below a Second Class upper 2 1 for a Masters program. But there are very few exceptions, some Universities (University of Alberta, University of Manitoba, University of Saskatchewan, memorial and Newfoundland University etc) accept a Second class lower, PROVIDED THE CGPA OF THE LAST TWO YEARS OF FULL-TIME STUDY is significantly high... In percentage like over 75% Or a CGPA of atleast 4.0/5.0 scale in your last two years of study.. I hope you know how to calculate that... Just get your transcript or if you're very knowledgeable about your grade and units, you can do it. For example if your course of study was for a duration of 4 years, remove year 1 and year 2, and just calculate your CGPA for year 3 and Year 4.. Also depending on the type of Masters program you're applying for, I'm sure you know about the 2.. (Thesis/Research based and Course/Taught based masters), in a Thesis based Masters, if you can get a Supervisor that is willing to Supervise you or even sponsor your program, my brother, you don hammer .. A Supervisor can also recommend you to the admissions unit for admission, despite you not having 'Some' requirements.. But note, getting such a Supervisor is like getting an IMSU/Unilag girlfriend that can spend lots of money on you without complaining or cheating.... Or waiting for your crush to reply your lengthy love message with a good response not "K" A taught based masters doesn't mostly need a supervisor prior admission, so you are left solely in the hands of the Admissions Unit... There are many other things about this 2 types of Masters that you will still need to take into account, before you proceed.... Or you can simply apply for a PGD program, in a related course, look for a very related course. Try Niagara College, their admission decision timeline is quite fast.. Or try any other college like Seneca, Fanshawe, Centennial, Langara etc http://www.niagaracollege.ca/environment-horticulture-studies/programs/geographic-information-systems-geospatial-management/ Also Note that Most deadline for Fall (August/September) 2017 Masters program admission application has passed Success Sir 7 Likes |

Austinpee4:The time I dey find Supervisor for full-time Masters program sponsorship, na dey time I know say my Crush get small pity on me.. Atleast she replies my lengthy love message with "hmmmmm" after 6-10 days Between this Supervisors and Nigerian Parastatals, I don't know who reply their mails faster...... Make I talk like Una here... It will end in Praise.. 3 Likes |
