Not to get too technical but Ntel SUCKS - I wasted N65,000 on the big box and at least 3 days a week it doesnt work at all; fluctuating between 1 bar and off. It was a huge waste of money and I regret not going for Smile or one of the usual guys. The other day I went to their office in Festac to complain about how shite they are and they told me they are doing "works on the network" unfortunately they did not have the courtesy to inform us (their customers) and while I was there the phone was ringing off the hook with back to back angry customers calling for the same reason. I asked when the works would stop and rather than giving me a date the useless guy just looked at me like I was stupid. I was 2 seconds from burning the shop down and hitting the useless customer service guy over the head with the wifi box. You would do yourself good if you avoid them!!!!! onochief@aol.com if you want any more details regarding their shit speed and unreliability!!! |

Re: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by rookidmart: 5:44pm On Mar 08, 2017 |
Macdove02:MTN gives double data bonus: buy 1.5GB and get 3GB, buy 5GB and get 10GB. 10GB is ₦5,000, so if you buy 10GB you're given another 10Gb device bonus making 20GB. |

Re: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by Nobody: 5:55pm On Mar 08, 2017 |
rookidmart: While ntel has k-leg, 20gb for 10k vs unlimited for 10k is a no brained I can download 20gb in a day. |
Re: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by alt3r3g0: 8:03pm On Mar 08, 2017 |
oyb: with 1.5MB/sec, i stayed with Ntel...with 300KB/sec...no patience for that at all. Streaming becomes impossible...only leave download on and go to sleep. There was a month i checked total data used and it was not up to 25GB due to snail speeds. Just had to port cos i was now paying 10k for 25GB with untold frustration Using glo as my main plan though. 3.5MB/s, 8k for 48GB. Best of both worlds. |

Re: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by rookidmart: 9:00pm On Mar 08, 2017 |
oyb:Sai Baba! It was ₦40,000 or so last year, even the Mifi that was ~17k is now more than 20k. At least it comes with unlimited data for a month. |
Re: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by rookidmart: 9:04pm On Mar 08, 2017 |
oyb:Honestly Ntel's saving grace is the fact that their data is unlimited. From what I can see here if they don't fix their epileptic network and cap the data they'll lose more than half their customers in a week. |

alt3r3g0:Surulere. See their 4G service but the network is so erratic that sometimes I don't even get 3G. |
Re: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by alt3r3g0: 11:16pm On Mar 08, 2017 |
rookidmart: Really strange..as surulere is quite central and not as extreme as Ikorodu or Ajah. |

Re: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by Nobody: 12:25am On Mar 09, 2017 |
I have monthly glo credit on my office line. End of the month I convert it to data. At one point I had over 200gb if I recall correctly. But glo is USELESS. Data and calls are hyper erratic. The only place oddly enough, where I got confirmed steady good data was at Orile, by km3 bus stop. I was getting 750kbps to 1mbps. Outside of that glo is a shit network |

I rarely comment on threads, but I saw the need to today, especially because many persons seem to have negative experiences with NTEL. I started using NTEL sometime late last year and was amazed at the speed; I was in Lagos then. I subcribed for the N1,000 2day plan and used over a 100gb. I later moved to Abuja and experienced increased speed (close to 200gb in less than 2 days). Subsequently, I noticed a drastic reduction in speed especially when I traveled back to Lagos. I am now in Abuja and have been enjoying NTEL after we had to subscribe for smile twice in a month as their supposed unlimited plan is capped and the speed not fantastic. I still use NTEL and get speed of close to 1.5mbs on the average with just 1-2 bars and sometimes as high as 5mbs. Today is the 30th day of my present subscription and I have used about 300gb. It may not be as fantastic as before, but for 10k it sure is the big deal. This is without prejudice to the experiences of others, especially Lagos folks 2 Likes |

Ntel that has less than two thousand subscribers are having network issues. They have the worst staffs from what I have experienced so far, they're only interested in selling their lines to people but don't bother about customers' satisfaction. They're yet to activate the sim I bought from them in early October 2016. I've gone to there office at Ikeja twice for it but the lady that sold it to me seems unreliable and not ready to help me. I've lost hope in their network. If guns were legalized in this country i would've shot all of them in that office, as for the girl that sold it for me, I would make sure that I shoot her and her spirit too. |
