One Yoruba woman was assaulted by a Hausa man in her shop in Sabo. That was how Yoruba men (mostly thugs and okada riders) invaded the place.
Some Yoruba women who borrow money from the Sabo Mallams in some thrift arrangements have been defaulting payment and been settling with sex.
So those Yoruba husbands who had been aggrieved but couldn't do anything used this opportunity to retaliate against the Hausa slum millionaires. Overnight, the Hausa army organized themselves and picked up weapons brutalizing the Yorubas
