I know someone who is willing to work as a nanny. She is a mother of 4, eldest is in SS2 but she really needs a job.
She is willing to come in and do cleanings or watch over kids till the evenings. She can also live in and go home on Friday evenings to resume on early Monday mornings. Whichever way you choose is fine by her.
Although she isn't literate, she is easy to get along with and hardworking. I can vouch for her because she is family by marriage.

It's never too early, you can always unpack and repack and reunpack. I'm sha leaving mine for early next month cuz that's when I start my leave and would have all my idle time, that's why I don't want anything to happen before then.

My own question is, what is a hospital bag biko I have this 'hand-luggage' type small suitcases, can that qualify as my own hospital bag (or would I look like I'm travelling) while I pack baby things in her diaper bag.
Mamas what did/do you people use as hospital bags biko.

Welcome back in advance. This sounds like the perfect nanny, I know I'd love this kinda arrangement when I resume work post-baby but that's still far.

I felt like this sometime ago when I ask a question and it was like ....ON YOUR OWN!!!. I later realise that sometime it might b an oversight, maybe not in a click or not a forum friend. how ever, if the vomiting n the tiredness increases, pls, try n visit the hospital to avoid stories that touches the heart. sorry dear, God is your muscle. do eat little at a time so u won't bring it out.

I don't really know, I know nausea and vomiting can come back at any point during the pregnancy and tiredness is a constant. Have you been taking your prenatals. Complain at your next appointment sha, depending on how you really feel, they might want to test you for malaria

you can start packing your bag now .Even from 28weeks, one is advised to have packed the bag

I complained about the same ish in the other thread. Check for the advise one mama gave. One of my aunts also said mumsi should go to elewe omo (don't know what they are called n English) and ask them to give you the herbs for inuwo, blend with the dry mill of your blender. Wrap in white hanky (white so you'll know when it's dirty, no be jazz), heat lightly with an iron and use as compress. I just got the ingredients today so we never try am. The elewe omo also said there's something they drink but I no dey for that one. I just collected the one e they sent me and left

Haven't gotten one but I heard wrong gender scans happen more often than we think. At my last antenatal class, the matron said so. If mine turns out to be a boy, he's gonna have a lot of pink onesies , cuz I couldn't help it, but I bought almost everything else in unisex colours.

Ooops, it happened to my colleague just last month. The wife was told its a baby girl and she ended up buying pink clothes including head bands. hahahahahahah. i think it is usually boy they get it wrong possibly because the genital was not clearly seen by the utrasound

No need for mentholatum. Just clean with spirit evert 2 hours. Paediatrician said gripe water is psychological, doesn't really do much that it will go with time

Also a friend that used our hospital suggested something that worked for me. Pack your baby's first clothes (1 outfit, cap, socks, mitten if you bought it, 1 diaper) the olive oil and 2 LadySept in one nylon. By the time they ask for baby's things your head may have started touching and it will be easy for you or whoever is with you to hand over without missing anything

I will suggest you go and see your Dr. You mustn't wait until ante-natal days, or if you have his/her nos, you can put a call through. It might be low PCV, malaria or any other preggy related illness. I hope you are having adequate rest too and taking your prenatal drugs very well. Ndo ooo, its part of the package expecially when you are nearing the finish line. It's well with you. HTH.

During my first pregnancy, I suddenly started vomiting and feeling sick during the 7th or 8th month (can't really remember).... then I was rushed to the hospital and it was found out that I had protein in urine +++... That was the begining of pre eclampsia. .. so hurry to the hospital so u can avoid the avoidable. .. ..good luck to you
