I'm not married, I'm single.

Unless you are well above 30, your total CRS score is quite low compared to your profile I.e Masters degree, good ielts, work experience and single. If thats not the case, you may need to check you filled your profile correctly.

Please house i need urgent help.

I only just found out yesterday that i need an American FBI PCC and i read t takes 12-14 weeks to get.
My question is whats my best option? FBI has a list of agents on its site, but i dont know if this is a faster better option.
Please if you hav gotten this FBI PCC please help.
Even if i use an agent can it be expedited?
Im in Nigeria now. PLEASE HELP.....

Hello Ajujuju,

It is true that there is an expedite process for getting an FBI PCC however You can only use those agents (FBI Channeler) if you are a US Citizen or Permanent Resident. If not you will have to go through the normal process. You need to get your Fingerprinting done with a Money order of $18 or your Credit Card details and forward it to the FBI office. Don't be discouraged by the 12 to 14 weeks on their website. Mine took less than 8 weeks.
Application Sent from US Address: January 14th, 2017
Application Received at FBI office: January 18th, 2017
FBI PCC Sent: 16th March, 2017
FBI PCC received at a US Address: March 19th, 2017.

Please Note that it will be address to use a US address so that you can received it as soon as possible. I hope this helps you a little

Hello Everyone

Please I need some help concerning my application for an Canadian express entry.
I submitted my profile on the 21st of sept 2016. The profile score is 426.
My job changed in November 2016 to a higher role.
I'm aware that I need a higher score to get an ITA but I don't know what to do now. Do I withdraw my application and reapply so that my current role can contribute to increasing my score, cos my understanding is that it's my experience as at the time of applying that counts. In summary I'm looking for ways to boost my score. I have a UK masters degree and a Nigerian Bsc. I was also a finance officer for 3 yrs, 1 yr customer service agent, 2 yrs was a credit controller/customer relationship manager. I'm now 5 months on my current job as the Head of customer service. My IELTS score is 8.

Hello,

The points are awarded for each band score not overall band score, so it will be better you write what you have in each of the language skills. You also need to read more about Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) Levels. For Instance a CLB 9 will mean you've achieved a minimum of 8.0 in Listening and minimum of 7.0 each in Writing, Reading, and Speaking. If you don't have this then you maybe losing about 50 points in Transferability Skills.

If you don't have a valid job offer, simply answer "No".

Age may no longer be on your side.

To get a higher score, you may encourage your wife to write IELTS. Try to evaluate her educational qualifications too so that you can claim more points through her.

On the other hand, you may consider your wife as the principal applicant if younger and has more qualifications. Use the CRS Tool to determine who stands a better chance.

@40manlappy $ BoldInc... Result is finally out but British Council gave me a knock out.
Listening: 6.0
Reading: 6.0
Writing: 7.5
Speaking: 7.0
Is there any other nomination program this can fly for? Like the Atlantic Pilot program done by 4 states. Please kindly respond. Thanks

Goodmorning all.. Thanks for the informative thread. From what I can see, it seems each province in Canada has a specific time they receive applications. Please does anyone know when Saskachewan starts their PNP? Thanks in advance.

i Need all the advise pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

The whole process of ECA took me about 4 weeks.
I verified two university degrees. I was able to get NECO to send my transcript in this time but unfortunately WES' mail to NECO for further verification was taking too long so I asked them to do only my university degrees. I used DHL for my post. It depends on the speed they paid for. NIPOST also does fast speed post and I know it's 4-5 business days to get to Canada. But if it's by regular speed it may take up to 4 weeks.
