''what did I just see'' I asked myself, as I held her iphone closer to my eyes as if I was suffering from short sightedNess, ''this can't be possible... Emafidon?.. Na lie''. I wished my brain could process what my eyes had seen.
''baby what's happening, why are you acting strange. All of a sudden'' juliet said, looking all inquisitive.
I just couldn't believe my eyes, was this *Karma? I wondered. I frankly believe in the law of Karma, I believe in the law of sowing and reaping. You reap whatever you sow, be it good or bad. It's clearly written boldly in the bible. ''so, is this my pay back'' I wondered. I didn't know when I mistakenly rubbed my eyes with my right hand, which was already infested with gruesome quantity of pepper from the Banga soup.
''Pepper... Pepper o. Pepper has entered my eyes'' I screamed, looking around for invisible water to wash my face. Tears were already beginning to roll down my cheek.
''lemme get you a face towel from my bag'' juliet said.
''hurry up... Abeg'' I said already getting angry as I collected the face towel from her. I hurriedly went into the restroom to wash my face.
The truth is, I never for once trusted emafidon, he was a chronic womanizer, I was still a learner compared to him. Emafidon changes girls like the kerosene in his stove. Our hostel could be compared to a brothel as various girls with different shape and sizes, appear from only God knows where. Emafidon was a don when it comes to women.

Well, ever since that day, I feared Emafidon. But the issue right now is, why is Juliet communicating with Emafidon?.
I walked back to my sit and I calmly asked Juliet, why emafidon was communicating with her.
''Babe, wetin emafidon dey do for your whatsapp contact?'' I asked with anger written all over my face.
''Emafidon and I are just friends, no big deal'' juliet said, while eating her rice.
''what do you mean by that... When una start to dey relate?'' I asked
''Temy why are you acting all jealous, behave yourself we are in public'' she said, trying to defend her self. I looked round, but I didn't see anyone apart from the attendants.
I kept quiet, but I lost appetite. Strange thoughts were beginning to take shape in my head. I just hoped Emafidon didn't Bleep my girlfriend.

That very night I had the strangest dream ever. In the dream, I was on my bed about to take a nap. I was feeling the cold breeze of the night, so I folded myself with my cover cloth. My room was very dark, so I couldn't see anything apart from the curvy figure of the moon, which glowed through the window. There was dead silence in the room, but only the sounds of frogs, bats and cricket could be heard.
While I was trying as much as possible to get some rest, I saw a dark figure in the shadows walking towards me. At first, I cleared my eyes with my hands because I felt I was just experiencing a mere hallucination but as the figure came closer and closer, I then realised that I wasn't the only one in the room.
''who are you?'' I asked expecting an answer. I was a bit terrified. I was scared.
The figure drew more closer and closer to me without altering a single word. I tried as much as possible to identity who the person really was, only to find it was a skimpy figure of a lady.
'Who might this be' was the next question that lingered in my brain. With the low cut her, 5'4 feet tall stature and a figure 8 size shape, I felt the person in question had to be no other person but ''Precious''.
''Precious is that you?'' I asked with my heart already in my mouth. The hair on my skin had began to stand erect. There was a long pause between us and she replied with a shaky voice.
''It's me Precious... Help me''
''what do you mean'' I asked. What was precious doing in my room at this time of the night, at this odd hour. I wondered. She drew a little bit closer to me, exposing herself to the rays of the moon. I was shocked at what I saw.
''Oh God, Precious what happened to you, Oh my God... Oh My God'' I shouted. What I saw sent cold shiver running down my spine. I actually saw Precious with a knife plunged into the side of her belly, blood was dripping sporadically on the floor. She was suffering.
I jumped out of the bed and I ran hurriedly towards her. I held her in my hands. My body was soaked with her blood.
''Precious who did this to you'' I asked, with tears about to flow from my eyes. ''Please tell me... Precious, precious.. Look at me now?''. Her eyes were already closing as she rested comfortably in my hands.
''Precious, Precious'' I slapped her face multiple numbers of time just to try and revive her. ''Precious you must not die o..''.
She looked at me, with tears already rolling down her face. I could see her struggling to stay alive, but the multiple stabs and the amount of blood shed was just to much. I felt she had limited amount of time to stay alive.
''Precious who did this to you?'' I asked again. Thoughts of my suspected different neighbours were flying through my head. I just couldn't figure out who would involve his/her self in this barbaric act. To me Precious was an innocent young lady, who wouldn't hurt a fly if she had the opportunity to.
''or could it be cult related issue, I wondered''. While I was lost in thoughts, pondering who the person was, Precious began whisper few words out of her mouth. I couldnt hear what she was saying quiet clearly.
''baby, what are you saying'' I asked.
''it's Juli....'' she whispered again. Her body was already turning cold, I prayed silently.
''you mean Juliet?...'' I asked. With my two eyes wide opened.
''yes'' was her reply.
''Oh God what have I done'' I said inwardly, as I dropped Precious on the bed. ''Jesus Christ... Oh, God.. What the Fuckkk have I done''.
''How did Juliet find out about our secret affair, na who go snitch'' I wondered.
''This must be a dream... Temy wake up... Wake up'' I said inwardly. ''my hands are filled with blood... Precious blood, wetin I go do now''
I sat on the bed deliberating on what to do next, when all of a sudden, I heard a loud knock on the door.
''Temy.. Open up'' was the voice I heard from behind the door. ''Who could that be'' I wondered. ''that voice sounds so much like...... Oh''
''JULIET, is that you?'' I asked, as I surveyed my environment. My brain already planning on what next to do.
''Temy darling... Please open up'' Juliet repeated.
I looked towards the left hand side of the room and miraculously, I found myself an escape route. There was a very small window, I had to fold myself and struggle to get out the house before Juliet could realise I was gone.
I ran as fast as possible, without getting tired. I had no clue were I was going, but I kept running.
''Temy wetin happen'' someone called me from behind.
I grasped for breathe as I stopped running. I felt the person who called my name must have known me from somewhere.
''Temy how far now... Wetin happen, why you dey run this kind time of the night, abi you go thief something?'' the person said again.
''Emafidon na you be that?'' I asked.
