Truth be told, defensively, he is average but attackingwise, he is still OK, if better winger catch that guy for that corner, we go suffer.

This is just the plain truth. When Matic was Matic, we all saw how he used to win balls, opposition players hardly went past him, we all saw how good he was then no be ds one wey go just dey jog around the pitch, lose balls, can't mark again like he did that first season.

I could dig out post where we all were full of praises for him then.

Like I said before and I will say it again fab>matic but for tactical reason best known to the coach matic is been preferred and it has been paying off so far. Pairing kante with fab in a two man midfield consistently would've seen us in third or fourth position so far. There is a reason Oscar was used as scapegoat by mou that gave us the trophy two seasons ago.
