I think its good you write them before they get back to you. I had a similar issue last year, although my US visa was approved after the first denial but i forgot to mention the refusal cos i have a valid visa. The acknowledged and documented it in my GCMS file, its smart you beat them at their game. Write them now! yemdogg: |

duduafri:I doubt any tactics used can actually beat those folks. Truth is, they have seen all sorts especially coming from africa which is considered a third world. They know majority of people seeking any category of visa want to use it as a means to migrate. So all strategies to fish out any unscrupulous act or any other form of 'smartness' will be implored. That they even send mails to applicant to respond to acts of misrepresentation is them being lenient and giving a chance to explain. Not that they don't know what to do. By mere signing the application form, it's assumed that you have CAREFULLY read and declared information on the form true and therefore liable to any falsification whatsoever. It is an offence in the Immigration and Refugee protection Act and it is purnishable. At this point, it is best the moniker wait for their response which most definitely will be to respond to the mis-representation. I doubt they will oblige to such request of withdrawing that application.A background check would have been done and they CERTAINLY will make you know that you have commited an offence so you don't try to do such next time. This issue of mis-representation is intense than how we are taking it. On a personal experience, i have once attended a visa interview and the guy interviewed before me was asked to wait for a photocopy of a document before he leaves (this was a tactics) unknowingly, they dictated some misrepresentation in his form submitted prior to the interview. While seated, operatives of CID were called in to pick him while he was waiting for the "photocopy". He was whisked away and charged. Thankfully, Canada has not gone to this extent YET on study permits due to the non-appearance case. We musn't let them do so! 1 Like |

Hello Gurus in the house. I have been religiously following this trend for sometime now and through informations on here I have been able to put together my documents for student visa application. I am currently on my SOP and I would like to ask if it is necessary for me to address previous refusals, I was denied US student Visa 6 Years ago and UK student visa 5 years ago though I eventually got the UK student visa and I studied in the UK. I would also like to ask if it's okay to use my sponsor's(my Dad) declaration of age affidavit as he(my sponsor) does not have an NPC Birth Certificate. Please what other document could serve as proof of father-son relationship. |

Good day, please I have a couple of questions 1) Would a post graduate diploma in occupational/environmental health be considered an academic regression following an MBBS (medical) degree 2) Say the cost of said PGD is about 2million, after the payment of the full tuition if a parent transfers 10,000CAD (living expenses) to my account accompanied by a letter/affidavit of support will the parent's statement of account still be required to prove non-lodgement of funds or the first two are sufficient? I would greatly appreciate your responses. Thanks. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by yemdogg: 3:32am On Mar 23, 2017 |
Luce: The parent's soa will be required to show that the fund was transferred from the parent to you. The parent's soa and your soa will evince this. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Luce: 9:18am On Mar 23, 2017 |
yemdogg: Thank you for your response! So then does the parent's SOA still need to be detailed (i.e. 4-6 months long?) or just long enough to show that the money was transferred to my account (e.g about 2 months worth) |

Kemsure30: If you have been reading this thread before now, you would have come across a successful applicant with a complicated profile as similar to yours. You may need to start skimming through it, Or just read generally, package well, and hope for the best. Shalom! |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Austinpee4: 10:43am On Mar 23, 2017 |
Dejoh123:Just answer YES to the question of previously been refused a visa and then in the box provided, give the reasons in a sentence or two. The declaration of age is okay to use and your OWN birthday certificate should prove that he is your father. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Austinpee4: 10:46am On Mar 23, 2017 |
Eastcoast1:Depending on the start date on the offer letter. If the date has passed already, you will have to request a new one with a new start date. If the start date on the previous letter still show either may or sept 2017, you can still use it again. |
