It's better sold at dressed weight. A 2.5kg broiler at 7 weeks should give at least 2kg dressed weight at an average of 1000 per kg.
Thus sold at 2,000 per bird.

With the price, a decent profit can be made at 30%-45% roi under 2 months

True But Dressed Weight Without The Right Packaging You Know What It Is Especially To The Hotel In Question 2.5 Kg Live Weight Can Still Give Him At Least 1500-1800 Depending On His Market, Either Ways He Will Still Make It

In Lokoja, there are known people mostly hausas that do the culling and the dressing for 50 naira a bird. It's very neat. I used one of them to prepare my noilers though for personal consumption.

LORDDICE I'm not within the country now, but i will help you by getting my farm record report on production from my farm manager, i will sum it up, then divide it, to get the report for fifty birds,you can then use it and do your calculations. Thank You.

How old? And what other symptom?
Normally I will treat with a general antibiotic first and see what happens after then.

It could be a hatchery defect

On some chicks with similar problem, I expose them to sunlight. It will help in recovery.

Good morning house, I'm new to this business and I intend starting off next week. I will like to know which is more profitable between brooding for 4 weeks and selling off or raising to maturity and selling off. Also how many weeks dies it take to raise to maturity and estimated average cost per bird to maturity. Thanks.
