Okay, good night.

I am not the only one talking about the scam he was running as a University. It was a big deal during the election and the case died down when he paid $25 million. If someone promise you a car and take your money and you didn't get the car promised, what's that? Go and sleep it's after 11pm in Nigeria now. I am leaving my office now in Downtown Chicago and I am looking at Mr Scam Trump Tower with barricades all over to screen people protesting our president.

McCain: Congress doesn't have 'Credibilty' to handle Russia probes.

Nunes visited the White House, that says it all, Comey came out with a vague letter on Hill's fake scandal ten days to election but kept mum since July about Trump-Russia investigations.

I know the truth will surface someday.

Deflector in Chief?

Is that ethical?

The chairman of an investigative committee investigating a President for possible treasonous acts visits the president to discuss these investigations despite guidelines on secrecy from the FBI and NSA, a lone visit without informing the committee.

Bill meets Lynch which all evidence proves is circumstantial meeting even though I don't believe that and you don't.

Bill and Lynch wasn't acceptable, Lynch apologized and recused herself from the investigation.

Why hasn't Devin Nunes done the same?

It was a massive error in judgment on the part of Nunez. It's an elementary principle of natural law that a judge has to be fair when dealing with both sides to a dispute.

I agree that Congress Nunez should recuse himself from further investigative proceedings of the House-select Intelligence Committee.

We play too much with words these days undecided

There's no error in judgement. He fucking knew what he was doing.

He didn't inform the ranking member Adam Schiff.

He went alone without informing any member of his own party.

He knows the procedures and guidelines in place about secrecy on an investigation like this which Comey reiterated during the hearing.

He went anyway. Why? No one will stop them, republicans have control, they can choose to bury it all and fall under Trump's command.

The visit was a calculated and co-ordinated effort by Nunes, no error in judgement perfectly executed as he wanted and he achieved.

Yes we can agree, he needs to recuse himself.

You are correct but you missed the point that he Nunez was a member of Trump transition committee and because some members of the transition committee are under the FBI investigation, Nunez should recuse himself.

I merely answered your question with the assumption that you already know a lot about Trump.

You didn't answer my question. If you have read Art of the Deal and you think the answer is in there why can you not discuss it here?

Trump University, still rearing its ugly head.

http://money.cnn.com/2017/03/23/news/trump-university-settlement-claims/index.html

John F. Banzhaf III, a law professor at George Washington University, said Simpson's objection could delay or even derail the settlement, because if the judge rules in her favor, the settlement would have to be adjusted to allow additional students to opt-out. If the judge rejects her argument, she could appeal.
"What she is doing could torpedo the settlement. If the court grants her request, it means she would be free to sue Donald Trump on her own," Banzhaf said.

trumps 'art of the deal' is more the art of intimidation/bullying. Take it or leave it is nigeria mogul style. one of the first projects i was exposed to was that glo building in VI. oga at the top wanted it commissioned in time for his set date, and all the contractors, who had not been paid had downed tools in rebellion. the man came and basically bullied them back to work . Then I am hard pressed to call it a negotiation. Ultimatums are issued when you think/know the other side doesn't have what it takes to continue to resist your demands.

Another funny turn is some Trump supporters believe he is only backing this bill so he can introduce his own "ultimate" bill when the time comes. So if it passes he has the Republicans support for his own personal health care bill or it fails he can then bring it out like a messiah.

Yes, threats and ultimatums are valid parts of negotiation.

But I guess your excuse is valid too.

Threats and ultimatums are issued when negotiations are failing. They're not normally part of negotiations.

Trump, Sessions, Manafort, Kushner all directly involved in selling US foreign policy to Russia for 0.5% of Russian oil giant Rosneft.
In a stunning tweetstorm this evening, columnist and reporter Seth Abrahamson (Huffington Post, Dallas Morning News, Seattle Times, Washington Post) laid out all the details on the Russia-Trump connection. And folks, this is impeachment territory, and imprisonment territory, for the highest officials in the United States.
(MEGA-THREAD) The plot to sell America's foreign policy for foreign oil _and_ steal an election in the bargain began at the Mayflower Hotel.pic.twitter.com/XkoFpmMAeJ
— Seth Abramson (@SethAbramson) March 24, 2017

2) The timing was intentional: Manafort, hired in March, was slated to become the campaign's key player as soon as Trump became the nominee.
— Seth Abramson (@SethAbramson) March 24, 2017

4) The speech, arranged by Jared Kushner in mid-March, was to be hosted by the Center for the National Interest, a conservative think tank.pic.twitter.com/yXj3J7DpQJ
— Seth Abramson (@SethAbramson) March 24, 2017

Note that the Center for the National Interest will be abbreviated “CNI” often in this thread.
6) The speech was slated to be at the National Press Club, an august venue with a _long_ history of staging secure events with large crowds.pic.twitter.com/cuq5492nkO
— Seth Abramson (@SethAbramson) March 24, 2017

cool So Manafort moved the event to the Mayflower Hotel: a smaller, less secure site. The decision confirmed the campaign's excuses were lies.pic.twitter.com/EtgLxhMXYh
— Seth Abramson (@SethAbramson) March 24, 2017

10) The latter was important because Manafort wanted Trump to hold an intimate, 24-person cocktail hour in the Mayflower's VIP Senate Room.
— Seth Abramson (@SethAbramson) March 24, 2017

12) Another VIP at the event was Iran-Contra figure Bud McFarlane, one of America's chief advocates for a bargain with Russia on oil access.pic.twitter.com/hj6TJhLujN

14) The _biggest oil deal in Russia's history_ occurred in December of 2016. It involved the coordination of entities from three countries.

38) We know the White House lied about Mayflower. We know Sessions has. We know Kislyak has. And we know the Rosneft players were present.pic.twitter.com/9BIKLipInj
— Seth Abramson (@SethAbramson) March 24, 2017

40) So other than the RNC and suspicious Trump Tower meetings in December, the Mayflower Speech should get the _most_ attention in Congress.pic.twitter.com/8mPUhCC4bp
— Seth Abramson (@SethAbramson) March 24, 2017

Abrahamson doesn’t reveal much about his sources, but let’s just be aware that the intelligence community has long been rumored to have the goods on Trump. So yeah. Somebody’s leaking.
Daily Kos readers may also recall that according to the famous British spy dossier on the Russia connection, Carter Page was offered 19% of Rosneft if he could get US sanctions on Russia lifted. And apparently Trump himself wanted a piece of that action, to the tune of 0.5%; and whaddya know? Rosneft sold exactly 19.5% of its stock to person or persons unknown.

The essence of threats is to get the other party to make a compromise. That's part of negotiation.

If you have to pull out a gun or weapon then it's no longer a negotiation. When you threaten someone with a capacity you have the ability to carry out you are not expecting the person to still attempt to get a deal for themselves, you are issuing a fait. Do this or else! This is no longer a negotiation. If you tell your child do this or I cane you, are expecting anything less than compliance?
