Fill the remaining family member name(s) in a duplicate page of the form under the appropraite section then print each and pin them together.

Btw, the form you are currently filling appears to be a different family information form for nigerian applicants.

Find the appropraite family info form for nigeria here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/student.asp?countrySelect=NG#applications

Good day House..
My question bothers on letter of intent or statement of interest as the case may be. Is it a must dat some1 going for masters needs to have published a work or an article for his letter of intent to have the desired appeal to the graduate committee? I mean, here in our clime, its quite rare to see something like dat, if am not wrong because usually after graduation is straight to NYSC nd job hunting follows. The best most people have is their final year project research.
I know dat could be a criteria for Phd candidates...but for masters?
Please I will like the input from the experienced ppl in the house. Thanks.

It's not rare. Some people even have published materials right from undergraduate program and they still continued even after concluding their degree. That's exactly what these schools are looking for. Peeps with overwhelming research potentials who would require little supervision.

This still doesn't look like the IMM1294E for nigerian application. Download the most recent and updated forms from the link i provided above. It includes all the form you will need including the VISA OFFICE instruction.

ok...so does dat mean a person without publications does not stand a good chance for admission?

Statement of interest is to tell them what you are interested in, to know if they can offer you adequate supervision and support for it.

It can lead to auto-rejection, if they don't have faculty interested in your area or too outdated, and can be saving grace, if it is too sweet to be rejected despite low GPA.

Write it well, and let others in and out of your field help you review it.

please house...i need your help on this...the birth certificate i hv is a Belgian birth certificate written in dutch(the one a did in my local govt contains belgium as place of birth). I went to immigration office to apply for international passport but they requested i translate the birth certificate to english...the embassy of belgium in abuja does not translate documents. i will be going to abuja on monday to look for a certified translator...my question is...will canada embassy accept the translated copy of my birth certificate? or should i take it to ministry of foreign affairs in abuja for endorsement before applying for study permit?

NB: I was not eligible to have belgian passport at the time we were in belgium because i was below the age of 12. I only had a kid-ID card

Did you seek his permission before making his details public? I think things like this should be private.

Everyone should also be aware of the risk involved. You may be paying to or paying for a scammer. So, things like this should be private and at individual discretion.

No publication does not automatically translates into no chance of admission.

Everyone's profile or case isn't the same. Submit your application and hope for the best. I think in this regard, GPA, recommendation letters and infallible research proposal may be the saving grace.

Bro, i see no reason for any worry here. If you can translate it, fine.Attach both the belgian language birth cert and the translated copy. You don't have to take it anywhere for endorsement. The translating firm would have been certified to carry out such services.
Besides, once you can just get your international passport,it is enough to affirm your age and other details as it is an official document.
