The Board of Directors recommended a cash dividend of 10 kobo per issued and paid up ordinary share for the year ended 31 December 2016. This is subject to approval at the Annual General Meeting. Payment of dividends is subject to withholding tax at a rate of 10% in the hand of recipents. Does it mean like 0.09 k after tax? |

rebekah2011: I thought so.Anyway the result is very good. There is no cause of alarm here.share price is already in defensive mode and will continue to be.I expected 15 kobo but must appreciate them for giving 10 kobo.2.1m naira is a good return in an investment of 22m naira not to talk of the capital gain.I appreciate. 1 Like |

Coolcash1: 8% dividend yield to today's closing price. Was it worth the wait, patience, consolation, drumming and the rest. well I hope those in the train restrategize and avoid thinking the bank is helping them to reinvest their profit. eps 72k, dividend 10k. that means even continental reinsurance is better from dividend perspective and both train door are still open 2 Likes |

Paltry 8% yield, the lowest from the banks so far. This unforgiving market will chase it to sub one where it belongs tomorrow. There will be crying and wailing tonight, especially by those that spent money "defending" the price at N1.3 and N1.2. When you're not a market marker 4 Likes 1 Share |

locodemy: In as much as I applaud your courageous act but strategically, It's a wrong move, Locodemy. Sell all your FCMB units at early market open tomorrow. Invest your NGN22m to buy 364-day Tbills @18%. Use upfront interest of NGN3,960,000 to buy FBNH shares. You're well protected this way. 5 Likes |

On the flip side a N72k eps stock doesn't belong in the N0 -N1 range. But in the short term I expect the market to respond accordingly and show FCMB the same pepper it has shown Zenith, Access and UBA. No ojoro |
