Wizards play like the West but have the mind of the East.

They'll cause damage but at the end, their inexperience may stall their reach. I still don't think they're underrated. But I can definitely agree with people that Wall is definitely the best PG in the east and 3rd best overall currently.

I've thoroughly enjoyed 5 NBA games this season and Wizards was part of 3. They are good but not perfect.

Curry just outplayed 3 MVP candidates in the last 2 Weeks but someone will come here and question his mental toughness. Down 20+ we saw how the GOAT feigned injury to hide his face but mentally weak Curry stayed his term.

I have said it before: put 3 players marking the PGs people say are better than Curry and watch them fold like a pack of cards.

Shout David West though. He really surprised me. And Iggy was giving us points in the first quarter when we couldn't make a bucket to save our lives.

We have beat SAS now in the past 2 seasons on the end of a back to back. That we did it without KD is simply phenomenal.

I saw it. As per I saw the H/Ls and I was genuinely sad as I want them to finish as top seeds. They played rubbish defence according to the H/L. I think this L gives Cavs the motivation to get their ish together.

Never knew Cavs fans could be magicians.. They disappeared for days.. cheesy

Curry is balling now.. He beat Mike Conley, Westbrook, Harden and Kawhi all within a 7 game span but all we'll continue to hear is how Kyrie always out plays him or how weak he is when his 3s aren't falling or that he has 3 all Stars.

It was a really good game good enough, that I missed the first quarter of the gsw-spurs.
I think their defence was alright if they made a few more open shots, they probably win plus Greg Monroe killed in the paint, they don't have the size to match him.

Nobody beat the bulls on TNT so the cavs can mess up today and the april game Is still coming up. Hope still dey for Boston.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 10:10pm On Mar 30, 2017
Ok ok ok we av hear oooo, Curry is the MVP cos he has had a late season surge and taken down the best in the league.
Yeske, abi what are we talking about? MVP that cannor beat the best in the league and is not ungaurdable, is that one MVP?
Mr Curry is bae kiss kiss
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 10:26pm On Mar 30, 2017
But on a more serious note Curry is doing well to lift his team just at the right time. Though what he is doing now isn't as phenomenal as what he did last year or the year before but considering the ups and downs of the big boys this season, Curry is doing just fine.
For the regular season, let's not big him, the playoffs is where he should come into the discussion.
The regular season belongs to those who have managed consistency over the stretch.

Wow at 26-3 I was wondering why Kerr didn't just rest players. They had every excuse to do so but didn't. Its a massive W tbh. Blowout win on the road on the 2nd night of a b2b without KD. The Spurs would not admit this but it must worry them that Golden State have so many guys they can throw at Kawhi (Iggy, Livingston, Barnes, Klay)

Kawhi is in a shooting slump but more than anything Spurs lack a facilitator. Tony Parker is not what he used to be and Patty Mills is only a pretender- he is more of a shooting guard than a point to me. I think that's where they mismatch with GSW.

Now Pop would have loved to beat GSW yesterday so he can know that the only puzzle left to solve was the KD aspect so you can imagine his shock yesterday. But as a GSW supporter, I was only surprised that we came back from 22points and not that we beat them. People forget (and that's largely because we used to perennially suffer in their hands before) but last season, apart from the 87-79 loss the 2nd time we played them, the other 3 wins were essentially blow outs.

Curry does what he NEEDS to do to make his team win. That's where Russell is still coming short. Curry could have had triple doubles in at least 6 of his last 9 games but he would rather sit it out and keep himself fresh for the playoffs.

As for playoffs and when he needs to come into the discussion - I hate to say it, but that narrative is played out. Curry was easily GSWs best player in the last 2 playoffs up to the finals. Sure, he was not up to par against Cavs in key moments but in all his games leading to the finals he was big time. If you doubt it, check his stats against Russell and KD in the GSW-OKC series and when you consider that his team won, then you can conclude that he outplayed them.

I don't even want to talk about the 2015 finals. My opinion has not changed. Curry and not Iggy deserved that finals MVP but because the NBA wanted to give Iggy more credit for stopping Bron than Curry for his clutch shots and free throws they announced Iggy the finals MVP.

To put numbers to what I am saying, Curry averaged roughly 27 points 6 assists and 2 steals in the finals which was actually about 28 points 8 assists and 3 steals in the last 3 games after GSW went down 2-1. The last finals in which dick-riders came mouth agape for Kyrie forget that Kyrie's 2016 numbers were about the same as Curry's in 2015 which begs the question, why do they always claim Curry has struggled in the playoffs?

Curry had a 24pt first half against Houston before his injury in game 1. Had a 40 point and 29point game against Portland in the next round. Had a couple 30+ games including the 36 of game 7 that saw his team beat OKC 96-88. Had a 38 and 30 point game against Cavs in he finals and a 19 point 4/10 (from 3s) output in which he scored no bucket in the 4th quarter. At that point, he matched Kyrie for points until Kyries 3point play on Ezeli, 2 FTs and dagger 3 to seal the win. Which is great no doubt but was simply because Lebron became the main focus of GSW which freed Kyrie up. Similar to the way Curry was being hounded and Harrison Barnes had open looks to shoot 3s and 2s yet went 5/32 in the last 3 games.

When all is said and done, say 9 years from now, many will realize how Curry changed the NBA especially teams' ways of defending from the top of half court because of the fear of his parking lot 3s. See how many clean looks Klay had yesterday because Pop thought it wise to put 2 sometimes 3 people on Curry just to prevent the 3.

And yea, "when he does not shoot 3s he cannot influence a game". Tell that to the Spurs defence he kept dribbling through for layups. Or his 10+ assists average in the last 9 games.

Then some good PGs had a few good games this season and Curry became wack and did not deserve an all-star start. Yet his "bad season" is better than 98% of other NBA players good season.

He shot pretty well vs the Cavs. I feel he was definitely flummoxed by the multiple defenders sent his way. I do agree with your facilitator argument however because I observed he took quite a lot of unassisted shots. That is an aspect I feel Kawhi can add to his game. He can become a 5-6apg player even at SF. Heck if Jimmy Butler can then Ka-why not Kawhi?

After a tough game vs the Rockets where Draymond got hurt I just thought with the home ginger and all it would be too much for the Warriors. Some games you circle in the calendar as L before you enter court, but its good that the Warriors are remembering who they were before K.D it also helps that guys like West, Barnes, Iggy are playing their roles

Top PGs that don't seem to get their groove when they met Curry or which playoffs again? Eruditor has answered it all.

Since his return to the starting line up Rondo has been exceptional leading Bulls. Playing more aggressive on offense, by facilitating and controling the pace of the game, with a defense reminiscent of his prime years with the Celtics.

A40, biko give my padi Rondo small props for his recent showing....The Bulls may as well stick to playing on TNT, as the impressive record continues.

If you are a Cavs fan, you should be genuinely troubled...

These Cavs losses don't really mean anything serioside to me.. The East might still being what it is, just not show up post season and Cavs would just maul them as usual. Hopefully the Wizards would surprise me. Those guys seem legit. The losses would've meant something if they were in the West th.

Can't believe the Bulls swept the Cavs. I went to bed when Cavs led 41-34 following a James' three and I thought they would win the game. I still think they would get it together like Hakeem Olajuwon and his Rockets did in 94/95 but that's because Celtics are undermanned, Lowry is out for Toronto and Wizards are not mentally up there. I however do wager that Cavs might be 12-7 at the end of the ECF.

His shooting was just there against Cavs. He is like 0-12 from 3 in his last 3 games or so. I understand what you mean by defenders in the GSW game though. I don't think Parker should get the 5 year contract he is looking for. He is on his last legs. That Murray kid should become the PG.

5 year contract? Is he crazy? This is like his 16th season. He should be on a rolling one year contract. Too bad Mills has been unable to replace him all these years

You know Lebron would always turn to Akuma one the playoffs start. I just don't see that Eastern team I can confidently say would beat the Cavs 4 times in 10-14 days
