I was thinking of upgrading my Note 3. From the moment I bought my Note 3, I always knew I would use the Note 3 till i got too tired of it or it got tired of me .........

Almost 4 years later, the phone started to hang unnecessarily, getting so hot, camera not functioning well, flash not turning on again. I thought the time had finally arrived for that upgrade.

Looking at the smartphone market - The S8 was about to launch (cannot justify the huge price tag, that samsung would place on the S8 or S8+). I started looking and hunting for flagship killer devices on the market. I went from oneplus 3T, Axon etc etc etc. Watched loads of youtube reviews, read loads of press releases etc etc etc.

Cost of device + specification, would play a big role in my final decision. Then I stumbled on the Umi Z PRO (and i was hooked). For $299.00 (some sellers sell for less), I could get a flagship killer device, with fairly high specification and at a price point I was not willing to exceed.

Placed my order and awaiting delivery...........

I don't like carrying bad news but someone is using the umi Z here. It's a total waste of money. Just less than a month the person already ordered for leeco le max 2. The bugs are just too much, I hope this Z pro is better sha

Once the device gets delivered, I would constantly update this thread with personal user reviews (my nano sim is awaiting the umi z pro).
Would be a combination of nano and tf card (not using it for dual sim purposes).

I think this is a good choice if you are looking for a close to stock Android experience as possible.

I have used two Umi phones in the past and didn't have many complaints.

Total cost - N90,300

I have bought a few items based on Flossy's reviews, and I have not yet been disappointed.
He recommended the bluedio vinyl, I ended up buying two of the bluedio vinyl headphones.
Some things he reviews are way too expensive and not necessarily required, so I just enjoy the reviews.
But all things said, Floss does give honest reviews.....
Cannot wait to get my grubby hands on the umi z pro, and dump my Samsung note 3 in my gadget bin......

I even ordered the Z phone case and an umi z pro carbon Fibre blue proximity sensor case. Like floss would say, it's a GO......

It does sure looks good and very sexy, looks like a cross breed between the iPhone parents & droid parents....
And the ability for OTA upgrade to N, is also a plus. I do not think I would be rooting it.

If I should judge iPhone based on my experience with IPhone5s then their phones are useless.

If I should judge Samsung based on my experience with S4 then their phones are total waste of money.

My point is, every phone brand do produce faulty devices at times and I expected you to know that first batches of most New phones are shipped with few bugs that the company corrects with software updates.

That been said, I am an Umi customer, I have been on their Umi Super Euro Edition since it was launched and I have not seen any intolerable defect.

The phones gets better and better after each software upgrade.

Ops... Maybe u need to understand me better. No time to argue. Someone like u will advice someone to buy elephone. Point is, some brands just churn out craps as software time and time again.
