Gynae said placenta is anterior and frm what she said i think i am at risk of placenta previa. She has put me on pelvic rest, no travelling out of the ciťy and generally not stressing mysef and incase of any blèeding, i should rush straight to d hospital . Me sef kuku ma add bed rest to it cos wen i stand too much d pressure on my cervix bcoms so much that i feel thats where baby stays. I have an appointment at week 32 to check for previa as d doctor thinks the placenta can still move up by itself. From my 32 weeks appointment then we will know what next. Ever since my 20weeks anomally scan, my life hasnt been d same cos it has been one thing or the other. Thats y i just siddon dey watch and to comment here sef na wahala. I pray at the end of the day we all carry our healthy LO's. Thanks for d good work our dear cappo. 1 Like |

My able Cappo!! God bless you for your good works. I no say I no dey try to even give shout out sef but these days, the rate at which I get tired is out of this world. Gender is XX. Mild drama occurred when DH and I went for anomaly scan last week. After checking for the anomalies, DH asked for sex. Na so Sonographer say XX, that was how this man started prancing round the scan room, shouting whoops! Whoops! I come dey look am like wetin dey worry this one?  . DH's father has about 15 grandchildren and they are all boys. Only one is a girl so na Dh go give them the second girl now. The man was so happy that everything I said I wanted on our way home, he bought it for me and kept repeating Thank you. Now I wake up to see this man caressing my tummy or just kissing it. Its creepy AF but what can I do? Over happiness wan kill the man .
Congrats to all the mothers that have birthed their LOs. I'm so jealous of you April Mamas. I wish this month was July, I swear.
Please house, I plan to go shopping on good Friday. Between Lagos Island and Trade fair (close to Iyanoba), which place has the best prices? During my wedding, I did most of my shopping at Balogun but towards the tail end, I had to go to Trade fair cos of time constraints and I found out that some of the items I got in Balogun were selling for cheaper at Trade fair. I vex small sha. I dont want to make same mistakes so if anyone has used either or both market for baby shopping, please help me drop price ranges so I can compare. Thank you

My able Cappo!! God bless you for your good works. I no say I no dey try to even give shout out sef but these days, the rate at which I get tired is out of this world. Gender is XX. Mild drama occurred when DH and I went for anomaly scan last week. After checking for the anomalies, DH asked for sex. Na so Sonographer say XX, that was how this man started prancing round the scan room, shouting whoops! Whoops! I come dey look am like wetin dey worry this one? . DH's father has about 15 grandchildren and they are all boys. Only one is a girl so na Dh go give them the second girl now. The man was so happy that everything I said I wanted on our way home, he bought it for me and kept repeating Thank you. Now I wake up to see this man caressing my tummy or just kissing it. Its creepy AF but what can I do? Over happiness wan kill the man .
Congrats to all the mothers that have birthed their LOs. I'm so jealous of you April Mamas. I wish this month was July, I swear.
Please house, I plan to go shopping on good Friday. Between Lagos Island and Trade fair (close to Iyanoba), which place has the best prices? During my wedding, I did most of my shopping at Balogun but towards the tail end, I had to go to Trade fair cos of time constraints and I found out that some of the items I got in Balogun were selling for cheaper at Trade fair. I vex small sha. I dont want to make same mistakes so if anyone has used either or both market for baby shopping, please help me drop price ranges so I can compare. Thank you

@suremum ,same thing the sonographer told me at 29weeks plus breech baby ,i came here 'paraing ' .We can only PRAY ,talk to your Lo and not worry ourselves .my doc say it's not an issue yet until 36\37 weeks but you need to avoid stress ,carrying heavy things and rough sex .God will take control finally |

Present. Thanks for checking Phlakkeys, we are doing well to the glory of God. Not started shopping yet tho cuz i'm tryna see if i can shop abroad and have it shipped down here but i havent weighed my options yet asper shipping fee and all but errr i'm on it anyways. And if that doesnt work i will buy my thing here jejely (a frnd introduced me to a shop where they sell Uk stuffs and the prices aint bad too). Btw, this anomaly scan thing ehnn i asked my doctor if he wasnt gon do it for me and he said i'm not at risk of any abnormalities or wareva sha and so we only checked for baby sex. So me ano do anomaly oo and i pray things remain perfect as they are. My fellow teamies i greet oooo. April mamas thank God for thus far and i pray that you all shall deliver safely and not carryover lol. pls what is this anomally scan everyone keeps saying? It is a detailed ultrasound scan, sometimes called the mid-pregnancy or 20-week scan. It is usually carried out when you are between 18 and 21 weeks pregnant. In some areas it may be carried out later than 21 weeks. The scan checks for major physical abnormalities in your baby, although it can't pick up every problem. |

U got me laughing @ cocacola mama.lol. well... baby's gender is xy and we are doing good. Shopping starts this weekend and i really cant wait. Gynae said placenta is anterior and frm what she said i think i am at risk of placenta previa. She has put me on pelvic rest, no travelling out of the ciťy and generally not stressing mysef and incase of any blèeding, i should rush straight to d hospital . Me sef kuku ma add bed rest to it cos wen i stand too much d pressure on my cervix bcoms so much that i feel thats where baby stays. I have an appointment at week 32 to check for previa as d doctor thinks the placenta can still move up by itself. From my 32 weeks appointment then we will know what next. Ever since my 20weeks anomally scan, my life hasnt been d same cos it has been one thing or the other. Thats y i just siddon dey watch and to comment here sef na wahala. I pray at the end of the day we all carry our healthy LO's. Thanks for d good work our dear cappo. Don't worry, I believe God is in control. Just pray and commit everything to Him. Congratulations to all the march and april mamas that have birthed their los, may God bless and keep them all for us. And those of us the remaining mamas still pushing, may God make it easy for us all.
Team October,how has it been going,hope we are all coping. As for me,just when i thought the MS is now relieving me a bit unknown to me that i was wrong, yesterday i threw up all the food i ate,i later took milo and milk when my stomach was bitting me continuously,i later threw up the milo too but was relieved. Though i became weak because i couldn't eat anything again until this morning i managed to take 7up and crackers only for me to be feeling waist and back pain o,anyway i've been casting and binding since asking God to take control.I later saw that the 7UP contains Lemon and lime, mamas that do take 7UP na so e dey do una too abi na only me waka come? Might be the 7up since different people react differently to different things. I was obsessed with lime in first trimester cuz it helped keep nausea away but when I read the posts against it on this thread, I started managing with just drinks that contain lime. It didn't affect me |

Anomally scan is usually done at 20weeks to check for every part of baby to see if there is any form of chromosonal defect, if baby is fine etc. In canada where i live, every pregnant woman is entitled to only one scan wc is the 20weeks scan except if they find any tin abnormal in the baby or mother during scan then they can schedule another scan. In summary, it is a scan where all babys features are checked, number of babies, they also check for gender even though the sonographer must not disclose baby's gender. |
