Anything could be the case here, the EFCC legal team may have simply bungled the case or maybe the judges may have been compromised. Or then again, the man may have struck a secret deal with the FG or bribed the right people, else I wonder how the government suddenly withdraws the case claiming the money they accused him of diverting is no longer missing.

Whatever the case though, if you really think 100% that Amb. Orubebe, the former minister of the Niger Delta and former governorship aspirant has no diggable skeletons in his closets, then you aren't a Nigerian.

Nothing to appeal because it was the prosecutor that withdrew the case.

It could mean that they withdrew the case after both parties reached an agreement behind the scene.

It could mean they want to refile a fresh case.

It could mean they realised the man did not actually steal, or he has volunteered to return the money.

Read the write up very well. Attorney general never called efcc to withdraw the case rather efcc withdrew the case cos they can't produce witness to back up their claim.

whether in or outside APC we no folks who don't love this country and in our experiment at nation being ,especially in this PMB transition ,their real unrepentant self are being exposed and shall be thrown into the political fire where they shall change form and mentality or sent to political hell in 2019 and beyond....I know many of you bad wishers never believed Pmb will be this democratic, even more than any PDP dealers who pretended to be leaders.
