It does sure looks good and very sexy, looks like a cross breed between the iPhone parents & droid parents....
And the ability for OTA upgrade to N, is also a plus. I do not think I would be rooting it.

I like the look and the camera ( based on reviews), my concern is the battery, Redskull ( YouTube) rated battery's screen on time at 3hrs plus. That will be disastrous for any heavy user. Am seriously looking at this or the Mi5, my one plus from 2014 is showing it's age..

He seems to be the only person rating the battery at 3hrs (only redskull knows how heavy he used it). Other reviewers seem to be getting better battery performance.

Your old phone is now due for an upgrade........ Is that the oneplus 1 ? You have always had a good eye for flagship killers ...... You are spoilt for choice from the oneplus stables. Oneplus 3, Oneplus 3T or wait for oneplus 5 ? But they are more expensive than Umi Z pro ...

Review on hold - Don't know what went wrong. After setting up my Google account, I opened playstore to download whatsapp, and phone just died.
It has refused to turn back on, it's still charging, let's see if it wakes up from this slumber..........
Not a good start for Umi z pro.

This phone is using the helio x2x, some oda devices made with same chip are bricking from using whatsapp. Hope its just a minor issh. Umi and their bad reputation, God help us.

It's still dead. Hopefully seller would profer a solution and offer alternative or refund.
Regardless of this glitch, the 20 minutes or so I spent with the device. I want it to continue for at least a year. A replacement device, is what I want. The device feels and looks like a $800 device.

I use the Mi5. It is a beauty.

I'm sure I've changed at least 7 phones since 2014.

The way you feel with your Mi5, is the way I felt with the umi z pro (albeit only for 20 minutes).
So your think apart from my dead umi z pro, like for like comparison. You think the Mi5 is better than the umi z pro?
